It’s such a ****** conference yet we need 50 tiebreakers every season. It’s enraging lol
It’s already been established that none of us can escape our fandom of this program

But if we are sitting at home watching GT and UVA play for the ACC title I might cancel the CW network so I never have to actually watch us again

- There's no "deserve" when they put the playoff brackets together. At the very least, the interpretation of the word "deserve" can vary

This has been shown in the selection process the past two years. I can't wait to hear the justification for the SEC teams included using the newly important "SOS".... So many ranked teams beating each other every week. ...

The playoff seeding shows start sometime the beginning of November. We'll know early on how they plan to look at this....

Mod Summary: Some loser at E$PN put out a click-bait article naming UM ("the Yew," he called us) at No. 5 in his weekly Bottom 10. Something about the inevitable decline of UM football fans' hopes come autumn (which, you know, is a touchy subject). Besides that there was some culturally suspect joke made about Cuban coffee and UM fans cussing in his social media. No substance or actual sports journalism, just filling quotas for ad revenue.

This thread is so CiS.
We lost a game by three points....to a one loss team.....and still had a chance to win it at the end after we threw 4 picks. We were #2, fell to #9, still can win everything we want, yet th sky is falling and OP has a crystal ball (NO pause) that shows we ain't making it to the playoffs. I feel bad for people who live like this. Like did getting your first piece of *** end with complaints? How about enjoying the moment?

Now, everything isn't perfect and a bed of roses, but I'll take 5-1 and RELEVANT at the end of October vs being eliminated from relevancy by October 1st.

Like I said a couple days ago, if Miami drops another game they aren’t making the playoffs. They won’t be in the ACC title game and would have to hope that ND, Louisville, and USF run the table and other one loss teams drop a second game.

If anyone out here really believes that Miami will run the table than you have drunk the Jim Jones Kool Aid that the program and media like D$ and Pete etc gave us in camp and previous weeks.

This team will not make the playoffs at 10-2. They need to be at 11-1 and there is no way it will happen. We have seen this before. The curse is real, plus to get these guys to be on point for 6 straight weeks is impossible for this program. This is unfortunate but prove me wrong.
Obviously an FSU TROLL who thinks this will relieve himself from his Semenole misery.

OP is an obvious troll and has been dealt with accordingly. Best to treat him as having never existed.

But really the only thing to do now is watch the games play out and hope this team goes on to do something it hasn't done in over 20 years so we can accomplish the goals set at the beginning of the year: make the ACCCG and the CFB playoff.

Like I said a couple days ago, if Miami drops another game they aren’t making the playoffs. They won’t be in the ACC title game and losing to unranked teams (At the time) will be noticed by the committee. They would have to hope that ND, Louisville, and USF run the table and hope other one loss teams drop a second game.

I do not follow your logic about losing to unranked teams at the time. The committee is going to look at the end of the season and say (hypothetically) Miami is a one loss team to a ranked opponent.
I mean, following your logic, we beat a ranked FSU team.

It’s simple:

Run the table and we’re in
One more loss and it could be dicey
Obviously two more losses and this season becomes a huge failure

JC, OP folding, bending over already for what he deems inevitable 7 posts in…

Agreed…

Yea idk thinking about it more it didn’t make sense but figured keep it up. Miami was a 2 td favorite against Louisville so I’m not sure if they’ll take that into consideration. Basically my point is one more loss and Miami isn’t making the playoffs.
