No parking allowed at camping world stadium!!!

I remember growing up before the interwebs and advanced purchase parking was seemingly beyond rare for most sporting events. Like the only people that I knew that had it were those in luxury boxes for NFL and NHL games.

Sure, this makes organizing a tailgate somewhat more complicated but it's not like there won't be ANY parking available.

All of downtown will be slammed and church st will have a block party. Much better off hanging out there for the bulk of the tailgating and then just catching a 30 second uber or one of the million bicycle guys with a cart

This is out of the ordinary. Yes you pay to park, but you usually park at the lots by the stadium. According to this email the lots wont be available. Seems like they're just trying to sell all the parking passes in advance.

Well what I’m saying is the lots are just fields basically. Where you pay anyways. So at the rock the surrounding area is a paved giant parking lot. It’s not like that at camping world. There are areas where you can buy passes but what’s the difference? You’re paying for parking either way.

Yea there’s limited parking for parking passes. But either way you pay to park and all of the normal surrounding lots are so close this really isn’t a big deal. Just seems that way in the email.

Please, tell me more about this block party you speak of. What time and where as I would love to attend. Hopefully beginning around 1 PM right after lunch.
 
Uh, does anyone remember parking at the Orange Bowl?

There are PLENTY of local lots, churches, yards, etc. that will be available on game day.

Just drive up and down Tampa Avenue, there will be plenty of "non-advance/non-official" parking choices.

Everyone relax.
