No one will be hired at Miami until January

Possibly 4+ more weeks of daily rumors if it takes that long? When do early enrollees start school?

Philadelphia Eagles: On SiriusXM, ESPN's Adam Schefter questioned if Chip Kelly will return to the Eagles next season, saying, “The momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip return to Philadelphia. I think both sides are sick of each other. I think the fans are tired of him, I think he’s tired of the situation there — just my read from afar. … I just think Chip Kelly, if given a choice, might be comfortable elsewhere. We’ll see how that shakes out. I certainly would include him in my question marks of coaches we’ll be tracking in January." The Eagles are 4-6, but only a game out of the division lead.
 
If the NFC East wasn't so terrible he might already be gone. Too bad Dallas got riddled with injuries and couldn't take command of the division.

Thats cool .. my fear is you wait until January and the big name fall through the cracks and then resort back to a coach you could have had previously ... meanwhile losing a few kids the will be among the best in the country in their prespective position

I am not concerned with recruiting. I m concerned with getting the right guy.

Hope we don't wait too long and miss out on getting a good coach. Most positions will be filled by then

Could he have done better on defense at Oregon, sure...but let's be honest...the quality of defensive guys in our backyard compared is night and day. He would just have to get a quality DC and keep his hands off to the extent possible.

I hope im wrong and I've just not dived deep enough down the rabbit hole like some here who are riding high on every rumor - but all this talk about big names and 6 mill a year just sounds CrAzY. Is this real life? At UM? Sorry, I just don't see it.

I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm firmly in the camp of believing that any NFL guy NOT Chud, pagano, or Schiano is out of our reach. This way I can be pleasantly surprised if I'm wrong and not deeply disappointed when a dud is announced.

Sorry - but I'm just not buying it and I suggest some of you take a step back and really (much more deeply) consider what you're willing to believe.

I know what you are saying, but may be they will let the recruits and their parents know who the coach will be in Jan. I am sure details will be worked out behind the scenes, so when the NFL season is over he can get down to the U. JMO
 
Chip Kelly reminds me a lot of the Jon Gruden rumor about 4 years ago however, Kelly is a letdown compared to what Gruden would have been. Kelly has NCAA tarnish on him for his stay at Oregon. I just don't see the Blake and the BOT picking him.
