I would keep 247 out all year. Is the guy who looks like "Slider" from the original Top Gun Movie still in charge over there? What a d***. He's been down on Miami for a long time. One of the coaches must have farted when he was sniffing a*s*** trying to get a scoop.

When we were winning 5 championships,practices were open to the public.
Its only after we hired multiple incompetent coaches ( Shannon,Golden,Manny etc)that secrecy has prevailed.

They got Chris Stock, David Lake, and Gaby. All 3 are ******* tools. Then remember Ivins? ****** domer talked **** about Miami every chance he got.
 
I agree in limiting access (especially with our media) but this seems a little over the top and silly.

We should have an exciting product that at least on paper, seems like it could be one of best teams in 2 decades. I would think thats the perfect time to drum up excitement, promote the season ahead and engage with fans as much as possible.

If we win it dont matter. A hot girl can dress in sweats straight from the gym but I am still taking her out to dinner if I know we ****** at the end of the night. But.... if she just showed some leg and smelled good, I might get excited, let her order the lobster and be a little romantic (AKA my canes connection donation gets tripled). Just sayin

If it is injury related that has me concerned, there are only a handful of players that could get injured that we’d need to keep under wraps about.

Mario didn't have it on lock down as much then as he does now. Not saying he didn't have it on lock; just not as much. It feels like a Russian Gulag.

As everyone said.. Expectations are HUGE..

Mario wants to keep the noise out for right now to make sure every piece is buying in the way they need to before this season gets rolling.

IF it works Good for him. If it doesn’t we already know where this season is headed…. It won’t be pretty.

I disagree. Hype is way too easy to get into the kids' heads. If locking them down to keep them laser focused even has a 5% chance of improving the W/L record it is worth doing. Let the results on the field speak for themselves, as you said if they win nothing else matters.
 
The first game is UF. We know they have lower-level staffers reading our boards for info. That’s how it works in major college football.
