If the first thing out of someone's mouth isn't "We need to ban any form of collective (or idiotic club in this instance)" when they're talking about having some sort of structure and transparency to the NIL landscape then you know they're complete frauds.

The type of frauds that will attack Ruiz for actually engaging in paid marketing work for actual use of a kid's name/image/likeness vs Bumblefuk clowns that are thinking "Hey! Let's just pool our money. That way we can hand out moar! We'll figure out what for later! Derp derp derp!".

I don't see anything wrong with these in theory. You're paying for access to players and content. That happens in real life. People pay to go to comic con and meet celebrities.

I will say though, the wording on the Nebraska one is HORRIBLE. At least try and make it seem like you're trying to do something legit.

Quite being a bunch of haters checking out somebody’s pockets. Yes, I am glad that we are supposedly doing things the right way with Ruiz. I especially feel confident because of his work as a lawyer. No, I will not be complaining, snitching, or pointing out those clubs using a collective to pay the athletes. The athletes are getting paid. What’s the problem here? Do you want to be Bama/SEC and have an unfair advantage? I don’t want that, especially not at the expense of young men getting paid. I just want a level playing field where we all can pay the athletes the same. We will do just fine in that environment with Mario and Co.

It's comical seeing so many people who A) don't know what NIL means and B) are completely hypocritical concerning their own schools NIL process.

NIL presumably means Name, Image, and Likeness. You gotta at least have something to actually agree to rep even if they don’t use you much. This club thing is just old fashioned illegal pay for play.
