Nike The Opening Thread (ESPNU 9PMET) Tonight

Can't find anything online that indicates the elite 11 names have been released, in fact it doesn't look like that is decided until later this week

It's probably just a preliminary ranking.

Still seems like bull**** considering all the praise Kaaya has been getting.

I knew Yearby was a lil slow based on his film but the problem is he needs to be much bigger then 180lbs to be effective with his speed limitations.... i think he should definitely redshirt his freshman year to gain weight.

Graig Cooper seems like a fair comparison....

they are nothing alike.

Yearby is just more of a natural runner....also though he ran 4.58...which imo is SOLID speed for him.....Yearby is dangerous in his cuts....somethign Coop could never do...Coop would trip over the 40yd line in open field..dude was trying to set up moves in his head and his feet ddnt work...Yearby maks guys look silly ROUTINELY.Also # the same weight and age Coop was running 4.6's and higher if i could remember.

Coop had some nice jukes, he just couldnt break tackles and lacked vision which is a problem if u want to be a rb... i do think Yearby has more upside but i think Yearby needs to be a 200lb rb to have the same level of success in college he has had in high school.

It was from the Elite 11 Twitter. Its just the list for today. He still has tonight- Wednesday to move up. I thought it was bs with all the open love he was getting. He made Dilfers top 6 but not the other coaches I guess....

180 going into your senior year isn't all that bad. The kid will probably be 190 by end of his senior year and 195-200 by the time of fall his freshman year.

Graig Cooper had terrible lateral quickness. Yearby's best asset is probably his lateral quickness.

Cooper was trying to juke before he got the handoff.

Berrios ran a 4.52 I have to eat crow on his speed now he probably deserves an offer

Looks like they gave "his" offer to Javonte Seabury, probably to try to lock down his brother Jacques Patrick...

WOW never would have thought Golden would pull a Jimbo.

Seebury doesn't have an offer.

Exactly b because they would've mentioned it. If he did get an offer though then it was because of the 4.3 he runs and not his brother

- Arrion Springs announcing in a few mins.

- Fort Pierce (FLA) OLB Sharieff Rasheed has decommitted from LSU. Will be recommitting to Louisville tonight.

Kudos to Peter Ariz once again. He is the only Canes reporter that I saw who did a piece on Braxton Barrios.

Barrios just busted a 40 inch vertical. Dayum!
