Exactly what he's doing. Many people thought Sark was the brains of the operation at USC when he and *****in were OCs there under Carroll.
Smart part of this play is that Saban can have Sark as long as he wants him there because he's not getting another HC gig.

You really think Sark is going to Alabama to be a career OC? I don't think I agree with that. He is probably going so he can have perception of learning under saban while rehabilitating his image to land another HC job.
The media has already spun the Kiffin story for him to be considered for another HCing gig they will do similar work for Sark.

Sark is a total pariah. This isn't *****in rehabbing his image as a failed HC. Sark was drinking at work and openly drunk on the job. He was drunk and abusing boosters at fund raising events. Then he sued USC for discriminating against him when they fired him.
another HC gig.

He's radioactive, and won't be touching a HC gig any time in the near or distant future. On top of all that, he was a **** HC anyway.
Dude is playing the game and he is winning. Respect. Wish he was our coach.

I agree that he was a **** HC but I don't know how much stock schools put into the whole alcoholism thing.
FSU's strength coach just admitted to drinking on the job after being charged with a DWI and he got suspended a month.
If Sark proves that he is past his alcoholism and that his coaching is up par some desperate school will give him another chance, JMO.
Even though he is over-qualified, would love to get Ken Dorsey as future OC/Assistant HC once T.Brown gets poached. Problem is Richt isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Slow down on the assumption that Monte's son is all of a sudden a hot commodity. Kiffin couldn't even sniff a HC job interview going into this year. He wanted to interview at Syracuse and that dumpster fire wouldn't even have him. Not sure where people think he could legitimately end up. Washington State?
