Slow down on the assumption that Monte's son is all of a sudden a hot commodity. Kiffin couldn't even sniff a HC job interview going into this year. He wanted to interview at Syracuse and that dumpster fire wouldn't even have him. Not sure where people think he could legitimately end up. Washington State?
Kentucky will definitely be in the market for a new coach.
Baylor and West Virginia may be. And Miles leaving LSU could open up another P5 gig.
I think this is Monte's last season as Bama OC.
Fair enough. I guess I kinda think sometimes group think goes on in sports and that idea that he's permanently tainted as head coaching material might still prevail within the minds of AD's and college presidents. That said, Kentucky would be a possibility (if there is one) that I hadn't thought of. I think a Baylor or a WVU think too highly of themselves at this point (rightly or wrongly) to take a reclamation project. But yeah, Kentucky actually kinda makes sense as they're probably dumb enough to think he brings Bama recruits with him and will be some form of an extremely poor man's Saban.
