He was a bust from day one. If I recall correctly, most of the draft analyst were surprised the Raiders took him with that choice. Most draft-nicks had him second or even third round. I think he was cut the following year, which is pretty quick for a first round draft pick. The Raiders didn’t even try to spend time to develop him.

Pat is a smart dude, I'd be shocked if he spent anything. That said, I wouldn't be shocked if he caught on somewhere else.

He was mid in college too, solid starter but not top of the line. Neal had had a slow start in the league too, he has some weight and balance issues
