Cook and Fournette ran 4.5. The next dumb *** that comes into any thread and says that 4.6 is not elite for a high school kid needs to play in traffic.

Vern and most of CIS said anything above a 4.4 is slow. That if we want to be back than we need 4.3 at every position since it is easy to find.

The bench press test is a total scam.

All these players are bouncing and using momentum.

If they wanted to test real upper body strength they would have them do what they do in powerlifting meets and have them pause for 2 seconds then press.

actually, if they had them do it the way you suggested it would be even less relevant to actual football movements.

lmao, wrong.

the way you truly bench press is pausing it on your chest and exploding.

Based on the #'s so far Miami does not inflate Height and Weights #s much.

Only a couple guys lost an inch but the weights are almost identical from roster to combine.

4.6 is not elite speed for any running back unless they weigh over 225 pounds. There's a world of difference between a 4.5 flat and a 4.6 flat. The starting running back on my high school team ran a 4.6 (hand timed) and his best college offer was from a 1AA school. He was hardly elite.

He may end up in the lottery at this point. His arm length is ridiculous. And he hasn't even run yet which is where he will shine.

I'm far from nole fan, but Cook's numbers are irrevelant, he's got something...period. Will it translate to the pros, don't know, but he killed it in college.

If he's running a hand timed 4.6, your buddy probably runs a 4.8
