NFL Combine Thread

If the Bucs are smart they'll take him or Haskins but they did pass on Derwin James twice

There were posters here who would have passed on Derwin James in every round.

I have to laugh at the knocks on Tua in this thread. The statistical reality has been staring everyone in the face for months. But naturally it takes conventional wisdom quite a while to catch up. Mayfield, Murray and Tua have put up yards per attempt in the 11.5 range. That is surreal and unheard of. Normally that type of number is reserved for option quarterbacks who throw only a handful of times per game. To do it over the course of an entire season almost shouldn't be possible.

Not complicated. Those guys will be the first pick in three consecutive drafts. I started posting that a couple of months ago on various sites.

I'll just be lazy bro Haskins looked horrible against Purdue so if anybody hates Tua hate kn Haskins too but I'll say this too Tua made a 10 yard catch a 20 yarder, a 20 yarder a 40 and 30 yarder into a touchdown all season long. He throws guys open and beats good coverage better then anybody in this or last years draft but some don't want him? Yeah ok!

JOE JACKSON PLAYS de...NOT SURE WHY YOU GUYS ARE SO CONCERNED WITH HIS 40 TIME.

Chad Thomas was 6 pounds heavier and ran a 4.92 and was gone by the 3rd pick of the 3rd rd. Joe if he ran or not will be gone by the 3rd round of this draft.

People get so focused on one thing, they don’t look at the entire picture. And the whole picture tells me exactly the same thing you’re saying. That this guy will not last past the third round.

Haskins threw for 470yds with 2TD's & 1INT completing 67% of his passes vs Purdue.

If you're looking for a "horrible" performance by Haskins it was against Nebraska.
Yeah thats my bad lol I knew they struggled in both but they gor destroyed against Purdue but you're right

are they wrong about the dolphins being stupid? And they have still been more accurate than kiper and mcshay so what does that say about them?

You keep saying this...with zero proof.

What proof do you have that Walter Football is accurate? It's all just one guy's opinion. The reality is there's a wide range on where Willis will go. He's talented enough where he could go late 1st/early 2nd, even if most teams have him slotted much lower

You gonna be on the wrong side of history with this take, brother. I hope you ready for this fury when he wins Defensive Rookie of the Year.

This is what Devin White was all about so his performance was expected.

He lacks the instincts of a Devin Bush...and doesnt disengage or sift through traffic like Bush.

I got him hopefully as a ceiling of my homeboy Jon Beason. Which isa good backer in the league. All this all wordly talk yall got to me is hype.
Your a cane fan what did he do that stuck out against us?. That Jacob Phillips outplayed him in that one. He wasnt bad or anything but nothing said DROY

Tua may or not be a savior, know one knows for sure. But he’s the consensus 2020 #1 overall pick by analysts and scouts.

And this time last year, Murray wasnt even on draft boards. A lot can change. Tua will almost certainly be a high pick, but other QBs may pass him over the next year

look how easy Joe Jack catches that.....te skills on display.....

Put him on the other side of a speed rusher and he will sit near double digit sacks.

In fact i would like the Dolphins to grab him by the 3rd if we could as Branch's replacement. He could learn from Wake for a year or so.

What does a bench press matter for a RB? Just overall upper body strength. Check the box, but doesn't mean much. Keep it moving.
It means nothing, if you want to measure the true power of a running back they should have them rep out 225 on power cleans.

Sorry man, this reads like a true homer for me. Q Williams was an absolute animal on an otherwise overrated Bama defense this year. He absolutely wrecked havoc. Also, Gary probably goes ahead of Willis because he is such an a freak. Willis is a beast but this is a tough year along the DL and DT. I think Willis has an impactful career wherever he goes, cause like I said beast, but most likely not 1st round which is now even more confirmed with him not participating in drills at the combine.

Joe Jackson and MJ are nowhere near to what Willis is after that. JJ should land in the 3rd or 4th though, MJ after that. MJ went from being an afterthought to a solid contributor for us but he has many many deficiencies.
Willis is hunting his draft stock bigtime!!! No Senior Bowl and no Combine!!! Ouch!!! I hope he has his health together for his pro day. The problem is he can't move up because he hasn't been in the mix where scouts can compare him against other players first hand in person (ie. Senior Bowl and Combine).

Really rooting for Willis to do well.

Walter football was 2nd last year, mcshay was 12th, and kiper was 23rd. This is a article.

And this is a full chart.
