Even if we have a new coach, even if it’s Cristobal....the amount of disruption that will be caused....the likely elimination of this years recruiting class (we really need those three CBS just to have bodies)...the potential transfers of our most talented players....we could find ourselves in the same situation that Norvell entered. This could take two or three years just to get the program back to this level.

This was such a dispiriting loss.

2 or 3 years to get the program back to what level exactly, you fool? 5-5 we stink bud. “Build back better” right??????

We have a QB, this is not like Norvell’s situation lol. But I agree it may be rough, depending on who we can keep/bring in.

If Mario and Alonzo are here it’ll be the start of something good. There’s talent to work with. We have culture issues. MC can fix that.

Manny might have been the nail in the coffin... gee... almost as if 90% of this fan base knew better than the F'n AD. 🤣
 
It will be no better if we keep hiring Al Goldens and Randy Shannons, but TVD can flourish with a good staff.

Honestly, we do have quite a bit of young talent. If we can sure up the OL, DL, LB, HC, AD, Water boys, we should be good
 
LOL @ Miami having anything resembling a 61st ranked recruiting class even if they hire Cristobal in January.

Cristobal's fame alone in South Florida will give Miami a top 30 class this year regardless the date of his hire.

That dude, can flat out recruit anywhere.

If we hire someone of Mario’s stature I don’t think we lose everyone.

Even if we do the portal allows you to go get decent experienced players as opposed to trying to fill 25 scholarships with a bunch of 2-3 stars as we’d of had to do in years past.

Either way sacrificing one class to get this sHT show of Blake and Manny out of here will be well worth it..jmo
 
next year will be brutal...schedule does us no favors and it's tough to build a roster off the portal with a brand new regime..
we have holes all over the squad and the recruiting implosion will cost us at least 2 - 3 years on the rebuild.
 
Needs to be done. Mario can rape the portal to survive for a year until he gets his first full class with the bump.
