Next Opp: UAB 52, Savannah St 0

So long as we play a marque OOC game, I don’t mind a game like this, especially with the new RS rule.

Each QB should get 1 quarter, anyone with a bruise from LSU sits, we roll 70-3, and on we go.

I'd like to see the NCAA adopt a "no FCS opponents" rule for FBS teams. There's no reason to play these games. Miami already has FIU and Toledo on the schedule. And I'd way rather play those types of cupcakes than some severely overmatched team that gets crushed by FCS opponents every week.
 
The NCAA should at least prohibit FCS matchups at the end of the season. Not fair some teams rest their players right before the championships.

I'll never get why some fans want the OOC to be 4 elite teams. People claim they want Miami to win National Championships, well then learn from Saban and schedule like he does. If Bama can play 1 decent team and 3 easy games, including a FCS, why cant we?

Oh, and check UGA's OOC this year. If that were our OOC, there would be a meltdown. Yet UGA fans love it because that soft schedule almost guarantees them a playoff spot

Interesting response. Looks like you didn't actually read what I said. I don't have any problem with Miami playing an easy OOC game, but Savannah State is a joke. Also, it is helpful to have a breather late in the season.
 
Every team plays 1 D2 team. I do wish we played a better D2 team for sure though but who cares really.

And whats the point of scheduling a better FCS team? All any voters or the playoff committee see is "FCS". Nobody gives a **** if you beat the #1 FCS school or the worst one, its just a FCS win.

Nobody cares, but it gives the young guys slightly better preparation and game experience playing a team who can put up a fight for at least a quarter (Bethune) vs. a team that we can beat 77-0 with Jordan Butler playing QB.
 
This is the perfect game for us following our LSU beat down. Play Kosi/Cade and Jarren. I would pick 2 and give them each a half. Rest anyone who is banged up. Get all freshman some burn so they have some confidence going into ACC games if their number gets called. Adjust the oline to see if one group gets better over the pathetic one we put out against LSU.

Wishful thinking they'll get a half. Hope the 1s run the score up early so we can see at least a quarter of each. I just want to see whoever QB2 is with the 1s for a series or 2.
 
If they throw slants and short passes all day they might score 35 on us. Diaz has our db’s running away from receivers again.
