Yeah that’s what I was alluding to - you go to DUMBO and you’re stuck buying a whole pie for $25-$30.

Totonnos is also the goods as well.

most of those places have lines which is a joke since you can get an amazing slice walking in most places in the city

please love of god just don't go to the dollar slice places, horrific

No bro... I left in 65. Yes I had family and friends tell me the place changed big time... just had a friend come back from WNY last week cause his father passed away about 3 miles north and he said the place looks like a major sanctuary city. He said the Cubans have been replaced.
 
I'm not gonna sit here and let you'll cowards diss Chicago food--the best food city in the country. Not only for deliciousness, but also the sheer variety of good *** food that you can get.

Pizza? We got that in spades. And I'm not only talking about deep dish. Even thought that's what we're most known for. We got all kinds of pizza joints that serve phenomenal tavern style pizza. If you can't find a good pie in Chicago, then you're not even trying.

Greek food all over the place.

Chinese food? We got that covered.

Italian beefs, Maxwell polishes and hot dogs all day!

We got all kind of fire Mexican joints with the best tacos, burritos and tortas you can ask for.

You wanna go upscale? We have some of the best steak houses in the country in this here city.

And you mutha****as have no idea about mild sauce!

Put some respeck on Chicago's name!

They have some decent Cuban places up here, but you are going to end up spending 50 dollars just on the food per person. The same quality of food you can get in Miami for 12 dollar meals. We have nothing that compares to what the fancy Cuban places in Miami sell.

Its the same way with Italian food in Miami. They have some OK Italian places down there, but you are going to end up spending 50 bucks on the food for the same **** you could get at a local Italian spot up here for 8 bucks.

I hear Chicago has some good rib tips. Some joints still cook em' in those aquarium pits.
