Different opinions are one thing. But when being slapped in the face with facts and still trotting out a bunch of nonsense about how Golden can still turn this ting around, that's another thing altogether.

And to suggest that we are all just raging morons because we don't accept our current mediocre position in cfb, that's why the suggestions of plants. Because only someone who works for the school, and is highly invested in Al, would still insist that he will succeed here. The facts are in, and they show Al Golden is a mediocre (at best), football coach.

That's the biggest frustration right now. The admin is ****ing on us and telling us it is raining. Realistically, how many years does a coach need to prove what he is? We have well over 100 games of Al Goldens record (both here and at Temple), and his record tells us, this is as good as we can be under his leadership.

This is silly. Yes, the verdict on Golden is in and anyone who can't see it is mentally deficient in one way or another. But since when do we ban people for being mentally deficient? And why do we automatically assume that anyone who is must be a plant from the AD?

At the end of the day, I know people from within the AD who want Golden fired. I also know people from outside the AD who still blindly defend him. As much as we want there to be some hard and fast correlation between the two, there's not, and I just don't see any reason to out people based on where they work, when that factor alone, in my experience, hasn't proven to be dispositive of what viewpoint they're likely to hold.

Apologies for not answering - I haven't been in this thread lately.

People who came here to show support for golden are not banned because they haven't committed a bannable offense. We foster open discussion on this forum. People are allowed to be wrong. That's kinda why we have libertarian mods instead of major party mods, because we believe people have a right to be wrong in their opinions. As long as they are expressing themselves without attacking others or breaking the rules, we're cool with it.
