New sc coach

Tbh it’s probably just the mentality of the players and the talent level going up

Every interview you can see the mentality that’s been driven into them. These dudes work. Plus it’s just a superior roster

Still, a good coach knows how to tap into that and he’s clearly doing a great job

He was promoted from within Feld's staff so probably still implementing the same principles. Talent and mentality definitely has changed.

Yeah honestly there’s not many secrets to S&C but some people are just a lot better at connecting to their “clients”

I’ve been saying it for years here though especially under Manny. We were recruiting soft *** football players and many of them don’t come from an S&C background so it’s like trying to teach something to someone new while they also have no desire to learn

I’d say the overall investment of the program to nutrition is likely a huge help as well but I haven’t seen it up close to be sure of that

We used to send kids to papa John’s and give them muscle milk and call it a day

Bama had "Deer Antler" spray. Canes have "Dolphin ********" spray.

Aside from 2022 I don’t think feld was bad. Again it takes a few years to actually see the fruition of a s&c program.

Just didn’t like the gimmicky mustache and the broadcast panning to him it felt more like some manufactured hype. I Rather do it the Miami way and physically dominate.

Feld will be in the Ring of Honor for being the greatest Cane "Get Back" coach to grace our hallowed sidelines

Our SC coaches have done good

but we better start blowing teams out and also getting more depth because yikes. They are going to be worn down by playoff time.
Yeah the other games have been around 50ish plays so that’s good. The Florida game they basically came in for 3 plays, whipped asses and sat back down

Think that was part of the frustration against FSU was the offense felt like it was putting the defense in a bad spot when it shouldn’t have been

So let’s step on mediocre ACC necks and rest em up

In 3 months the changes are massive? 2 of those months cover Fall camp and the season. Not prime time for off season gains from the weight room. I have no problem with Coach Young, but this is better left alone for now.
Many on here do not know how S&C works exactly. The foundation was laid months in advance. I do agree thought, so far so good with the take over for sure, but unless these guys are on Testosterone, Ipamorlin, Tesamorlin, EPO and HGH …you aren’t going to see drastic results in that short time frame.

Players and staff identified correctly that they needed to shed weight. All the talk up front was about players losing weight to play with more speed and have better conditioning. That's a process that starts six months ahead.

Young probably has had his fingers in it (pause) for some time, but it started with Feld.
