Adidas can go ahead and put their freakin' stripes all over the jersey if it means getting rid of the feathers on the game jerseys.

The feathers on the sleeves is such a small part of the uniform. But everybody acts like its the biggest deal and ruins the entire uniform. Y'all need to calm down, it's really not that bad, and definitely not bad enough to even come close to ruining the uniform. Personally I'd say the fact that everything is shiny is the worst part of the uni. I'd rather have the colors on the helmet jersey and pants be non shiny, but that doesn't mean the jerseys are bad.

Our jerseys, pants, and alternate helmets are the best they've been in over a decade.

Miami is not a traditional program. There's no bastardization of tradition where no tradition actually resides. We've changed our uniforms pretty consistently since day one of the program.

Your problem with these adidas changes isn't that they're bastardizing any tradition because we have none when it comes to uniforms. Instead, it's that they're doing things that you don't like esthetically.

Chise, many of us are aware that you like to wear your tutu around the house, and even get the mail in it. You're truly a hip fashion guru, and that's an admirable quality I assume.

We just don't want our team looking like they just came off the chorus line at a San Francisco Dinner Club.

For the record, tradition is not always a bad thing. (Check yourself - I think the seam in the back is crooked.)

The logic behind this makes me chuckle. Last I checked the CEO of Adidas did not graduate of Miami. Oregon and Maryland are supplied with the best Nike and Under Armour have to offer. Of course recruits will enjoy getting new **** every week. You can have a clean uniform that isn't "boring".

The current unis come from the same mold as the 2001's. The only difference is adidas decided to implement the ibis instead of a hurricane and for whatever reason adidas is catching heat for it. Personally I think the currents look better than 01's, shiny numbers and "Miami on the front" aside of course.

The fact is this, Miami's current uniforms weren't on the favorite or non-favorite list. Our previous Uniforms w/ Nike changed over time...we had the classic 80's uniforms, we changed it up a bit in the 90's, the iconic early 2000's, then the pro-combat gear in 2010-2014. The designs were nothing outrageous, and they stayed clean and to this day, fans are still rocking those jerseys, not these new ones.

Kids are prone to all type of different color schemes....The Black Ice and White Ice Jersey's that we sported last year were clean, but the fiesta feathers all over the place on our weekly game day joints is ridiculous...and no way our practice jerseys should look better than our game day jerseys.

what's not to like about the 01 jerseys? Although, the 80's jerseys are still my favorite too, to be honest.
