Golden just poked 1-star running back Chippy Mortenson on Facebook. Something to keep an eye on.
The one from Saskatchewan?

jeff jones would be a nice pickup. we just arent that lucky
Way better RB than Powell, but yeah it's not happening.
Trey Lealaimatafao DT from LA. Golden started following him and he's following Golden on Twitter.
Also looks like AG is following Gresham again. Jeff Jones. Arrion Springs- DB out of TX. A few new OL too.
Oregon
From the Newark Star-Ledger
Chippy Mortenson, RB, Trenton New Jersey - A first-year starter for Trenton High, this 5'9" 270 lb senior rumbled his way to an impressive 214 yards on the ground this season, while punching it into the end zone 3 times. Son of ESPN reporter Chris Mortenson, Chippy has a bright future. What he lacks in speed, he makes up for with fire in his eyes. Chippy is a film room junkie and a real student of the game. His attention to detail and knowledge of the playbook helps him adjust protection for his QB. A hard-nosed runner, Chippy could become a solid short yardage back at the next level. He's used to grinding out tough yardage, both on and off the field. Chippy was born legally blind with webbed feet. In spite of this, his hard work has paid off. He runs naturally low, and is tough to bring down. He'll likely require a redshirt year to work on his physique - teammates' nickname for him is "Fat Dipshlt" - but Chippy has the tools to become a red zone threat at the collegiate level.
