MEGA New Miami Adidas Ultraboost🔥 - The Shoe and Nike/Adidas Thread.

I don't know if I've seen a dumber video.

A. "Jordan 3s are not selling on Saturday drops. My evidence? Here are some on sale."
B. "New Balance is selling better than Jordans on Saturday drops. My evidence? Whoops, just ignore that the New Balance are ALSO on sale."

Makes no sense at all.

Look, he's at JD Sports. Sure, they have some Jordan models that you can buy online for a Saturday drop AND that you can buy in the stores. That's an inventory management issue, I'm not going to get into that.

The reality is, some of these Jordan drops are twice as expensive as the New Balance shoes he was showing off, and Nike might end up selling 10x the number of a particular Jordan model than a New Balance model he is featuring.

Meaning...while sure, there MIGHT be some Jordan inventory available, that has NOTHING to do with how much money (and profit) Nike made on that drop.

And then look at some of the Jordans he showed off. He held up the Easter colorway that was a women's release. He held up one of the hybrid Jordans (the ones that combine elements of the 4s and the 5s and the 6s, as just an example). The only one he held up that I would have possibly purchased on the day of the drop was the Cap & Gown. But I already have soooooo many Jordan 6s (the first Jordan I ever purchased on my own, thus my emotional favorite).

I get it, all these podcasters want to stand out by saying something controversial. Whatever. I just don't take a random dude going to a random JD Sports store in some random mall as...the ultimate arbiter of what shoe sells more than another shoe.

It'll be ok. Go get yourself a pair of comfortable New Balnce and reward yourself. You deserve the upgrade.

Typical CIS... if those were Miami Stormtroopers, they'd be fire, but because they are Georgia, people hate them. **** Georgia, but that has nothing to do with their uniforms.
Lmao. And if those were adidas we’d be hearing how they ruined a classic uniform and designed something ugly. The red and black stripe is ugly. Period

Nike fanboys are so funny.

I'm perfectly happy (and comfortable) with my stable of Jordans. You realize, I have at least one all-black/mostly-black model from Jordan 1s to Jordan 14s, and I rotate what I wear to work. Great shoes, and that doesn't even count the ones that I keep in the boxes.

Enjoy your New Balance. Not for me.

But the threads were cut by the last living samurai on Mt Fuji using a blade pulled from the back of a dragon. It's then carried to Mt Everest and dipped in Yeti tears. These aren't ordinary. It's special.

Plus, look at his username: "BallinOnABudget". Dude doesn't want to pay $225 for a Jordan drop, and that's fine.

He might be in the sneaker culture for a while, but that video was ****.

"Oh, a shoe is on sale at my local JD Sports, please allow me to make a global generalization."

Maybe other shoe videos are this dumb, but I'm not watching as many of those as @ShadowSpring is. And apparently he is doing it to "troll" people, rather than make an informed purchasing decision.

Maybe, just maybe shoes r “sitting” on shelves b/c we’re back in a retail climate vs. resale climate.

However, last checked ppl r going viral for stealing from…..Nike stores, not Adidas. Last checked, the trains robbed were carrying….Jordan merch, not Adidas. Maybe just maybe we’re in a society where ****ting on brands, artists, player, etc. who or that r on top is the easiest way to draw attention to ur page or site. Negativity & clickbait is the new currency; going against the grain, whether they believe it or not, is the new way to meteoric rise.

There’s a young man who’s the new Jake Paul of basketball, that says NBA players r afraid to play him one on one b/c he’ll smoke them. Lol; he now has a cult like following where brain rot has them regurgitating the same ****. Lo

We have dumb *** posters on here that r not interested in being educated, but rather be toxic & controversial. This is the only way they’ll get engagement & ya’ll fall for it every time. . These ones r on ignore b/c they literally bring nothing of value or substance to CIS on most, if not all topics. Their sole purpose is to argue, be contrarians, move goalpost, & rage bait.

Yeah he clearly loves his sneakers. I think he's got a website too helping folks find deals at outlets. On a serious note I may actually take his advice. He made a video about buying shoes at the price you want not the size and getting a size exchange at another outlet. My kinda guy TBH.

New Balance is up 19% lol. Nike is negative 7 straight quarters. Please educate me.

He doesn't just go to one store, or just one city..But ok....I understand the generalization in the video, but like I said this guy isn't just a random. If he's trolling Jordan, that would be funny considering Id wager he has more Jordans than most here...

The “sneaker culture” has been sullied, bro. I’m not randomly saying this, sneaker purist have seen the clickbait guys go viral & have followed trends. One of my partners is a former marketing director for Nike & he highlighted the quickest way to build ur brand is to be controversial or tell half truths w zero context. He’s highlighted how players or schools switch brands all the time, but it’s when it’s a school or player that leaves Nike, that’s the biggest draw. That’s the “Nike has fallen off” viral videos, although the market share, data, sales say otherwise.

We talk all the time & its not just shoes, it’s every topic:

Relationships:
How to build a successful relationship? Mid #’s
Women ain’t ****? Viral
Men ain’t ****? Viral
Wholesome Girl? Little Followers
Buss Down Tatiana? 500k+ Followers

Clothes:
Regular, put together outfit? Eh
Balenciaga Skirt for Men? Viral engagement

It is what it is; I’ve been to EYBL tourneys, been to the Nike pop ups during All Star Weekend, been to TOMA. I’ve seen fights break out over releases, I’ve seen kids begging for Nike to pick them, so I don’t go off what some accounts say. I’m led by data, inside info, & a level head that realizes the “hypebeast era” is now dying down & it’s back to the retail era where I could get any shoe I wanted w/o a 3rd party.

To be honest I saw this guy on my feed and his videos are kinda relaxing. IDK why. I don't even like Jordans, at all. Nike runners I will wear for sure. My mom raised me to find deals, maybe that's why lol.

If you still live in Central Florida this guy can hook you up fam. Video after video going to outlets in Central Florida all the way up to Jax finding crazy deals. I think he looks at every **** shoe and charts it on his website or something like that. Not in your size, no problem, buy it, do a size exchange at another one. I wish this guy would do this for runners instead of Jordans.

I have not complained about our Adidas uniforms. I actually have 3 game used ones hanging on the wall. Fan merch, Yes. Playoff swag, Yes. That we appear to be railroaded into extending with Adidas, also Yes.

I was at a Jordan Brand sponsored school store last year and the merch was better than anything we have. I was on one of our fan store sites today. There is nothing on there that I am like, I better buy that before it is gone. Moreso, that shirt looks solid, but I wonder what the material is like before I buy a couple. Meanwhile, at said JB brand school, I would have filled a cart and needed a checked bag for the flight home...

In apparel protest, and to make @Rellyrell and @caneingville happy, I ordered some lulu slides for comfort. I will report back.

The Adidas vs Nike argument always just gets the wheels spinning in mud cause folks mainly only bring up the uni's but hardly the fan gear. If the adidas had better fan merch, we wouldn't be as annoyed with them lol

My brother, I know where ALLLLLL the outlets in Orlando are. I don't need that guy for that.

You must have literally never posted in this thread or the other gigantic adidas v Nike thread before or just ignore Toc/relly posts lmao
