Nah man, I really don’t know about that. I don’t think adidas could conceive of something like this to be honest. Usually they’re at their best when they go basic. Any time they try to do too much the design usually flops. (Compare the Tenn/PSU/Kansas/MSU unis - OK; with the Nebraska ones - nobody likes them, especially Husker fans.)

Nike has its misses for sure, but they also have a ton of hits. Can you point me to an example of adidas nailing an “out there” design?

No cap, I wouldn’t. It’s a Mardi Gras uni, & it could’ve been Under Armour & I would say it’s fire for a school like Tulane. LSU? Fck No, but Tulane has already leaned into its New Orleans heritage.

The connection to Mardi Gras is very specific. The colors are spot-on. Now, if adidas had put a Mardi Gras clown on the helmet, that would have been different.

Nike made pretty much the same thing if we're being fair/equal about it. If anyone ought to be angry about it, it should be Crocs I saw both in person at D!!ck's last night and I actually think the Adidas looks better.

Those are actual running shoes man. Those aren't worn for style. Boost is always good. I also used floatride foam from Reebok for years when they were getting some Adidas tech. Boost will always be awesome for running
