Did anyone like the uniforms that were unveiled today? I like the Penn State unis. That's about it. GA Tech is what happens when you don't have a brand identity. GA Tech has to be the most underachieving athletics program in the south if not the country.
PSU’s shade of blue is off, & the same issue we have w our unis they now have, namely the material that Adidas uses bleeds through the numbers, distorting them. The unis they were on display, the 26, if u look closely, u’ll see the 6 is slightly higher than the 2, & b/c of that weird seam down the center, the spacing is inconsistent.
PSU fans seem to be indifferent; the most notable was the shade of blue, but they’re most upset about the fan jerseys & the cleats.
GT took a page from USCe + ND Gothics. Some ppl r ragging on them, but I think they look cool. The cleats r a bit meh.
Haven’t seen UTenn’s new jerseys.
South Dakota made a huge improvement w their jerseys.
Speaking of shade of colors, not sure I’m a fan of USCe’s Crimson color…however, this is the Nike effect:
Gamecocks’ Nike era begins as new gear launch draws lines, online surge
Nike officially took over as the University of South Carolina’s apparel provider July 1, launching a first wave of new Gamecock merchandise that quickly drew long lines.
@TheOriginalCane As u read this link, please tell us what was highlighted in the key component of this contract vs. the old UA contract, pls.
Haven’t seen Rice new unis, either.
Supposedly UTenn will be going back to their old orange unis, which also has been met w mixed feelings. What’s universal by both PSU & UTenn is they’re happy that Adidas will be focusing on NIL incentives for both programs, & utter disgust at the fan experience.
Lastly, I saw USCe is also an official Nike NIL school, w Dylan Stewart, Harbor, & Sellers being the face. This would explain y all the chatter of Stewart transferring died.
