MEGA New Miami Adidas Ultraboost🔥 - The Shoe and Nike/Adidas Thread.

I know it’s not likely, but if by some miracle a deal is worked out between Nike and the University of Miami, the amount of ***** expelled in this and other threads is going to be massive. We will be drowning in Nike ****. It will be celebrated by some way more than a national championship.

It would be best case scenario too. Only possible negative would be actual football uniform if Nike tried to change them from basically just copying /slightly improving what they currently are… Would almost certainly mean Nike offered the truly superior deal. As I think Adidas is likely to offer us a deal to be their top program. Espeywhen you factor in their actions in South Florida as a whole…

And everyone here *****ing about the merch would then shut up…maybe…lol

This is my boy’s ppl. He played D1 ball, but now he does branding content based upon his experience & friends in college/NFL. He breaks down y Nike’s deal w USCe is better long term. It amazes me how when I bring up ****, the few in the peanut gallery think I’m some blind fan boy, although ppl in the know completely regurgitate the same ****; but, I guess we’re all just fan boys:

The people at miami say they want the best deal, sound like they need to holla at Nike lol.. Why we not reading the fine print??

B/c most ppl don’t read the fine print, to be honest. This is y in my line of biz, I pride myself in simplifying, & defining all fine prints so my clients make educated decisions b4 signing or agreeing to work w me.

Imma give u another example in which I just shared in my PMs. This is y I don’t want us to get in bed w PEs.



Moral of the story; just b/c something looks good up front, u must be aware of the tricky language that’s buried.

PE is a completely other story, a complete cancer/plague on society.. They want to own everything, reduce quality, raise prices to astronomical levels and suck the soul and trust out of any industry/brand..

Maybe @DMoney and mike ryan can discuss on podcast and sound the alarm lol.. we are being duped with fine print crappy adidas deals!!!

Nobody that porsts here is making this deal, so what’s the issue?

Personally, the program is going in the right direction, and I’ve got a feeling the people in charge do read the fine print and understand the short and long-term implications of any deal that they might sign. So I really don’t see what the issue is.

I’m not saying that Joe and Rudy are missing the fine print. But you can tell by the talking points that are being leaked (accurate or not) that “adidas will give us NIL” or “adidas will HELP us with the ACC buyout” that some people are trying to influence the masses to believe that the “adidas deal” is the “best deal”.

And maybe it will be. But I certainly don’t believe that is true if we are not offered a 15% royalty. We’ve earned it and we deserve it. And if adidas won’t offer it…and if multiple SEC schools are getting 15% royalties from Nike…

Then maybe our leadership is unaware of how much money a 15% royalty brings in. Particularly when we might be switching conferences soon and Miami fans want to dump all their old All Canes Conference merch.

Plus we are about to increase the size of our campus and student body. Lots of new students and alums who will buy merch. If it were up to me (and it’s not), I would bet on my Alma mater and demand a 15% royalty.

We don’t need a mill or two to “help” us pay the ACC buyout. Joining the Big 10 will more than pay for itself. I’d rather have more cash every single year for 10 years.

15% royalty or die. Otherwise adidas doesn’t love us as much as they claim to love us.

Miami and Indiana have saved adidas over the last two years, in football and in hoops. No way adidas has the cash to woo Pedo State and Tennessee WITHOUT US. We put up with adidas ******* us on the most favored nation clause, now it’s time to repay Miami for its patience.

The issue is that other schools are getting 15% royalties while adidas is offering $22 of trinkets for Manhattan.

Furthermore, pal, our own AD who actually signed the deal didn’t know what the fine print said. It was LITERALLY posted on this very site after it was exposed how tumultuous Blake James’ tenure was here. Like seriously, pls take a break & stop feeling the need to always respond to **** u don’t know.

That’s your response? Did I touch a nerve or something? This **** really makes you emotional. I asked a legitimate question and apparently you don’t have any kind of an actual thought out response. Don’t know what that idiot Blake James has to do with it, he’s not here anymore and hasn’t been for years and since we’re talking about a new deal, he’s not going to have anything to do with it. But you go on with your bad self, pal.

Ninja, what??? What r u even talking about? U responded to my post about how royalties work which was a convo that was 5 yrs old. Lol.
