I roll only with Yeezy!!!Actually Nike has fallen especially in football with the younger generation
Even with their fall off and younger generations not really having same brand loyalty (as you can see thru years of discussion, older heads would lay it all on line for Nike) they still hold #1 spot by defaultActually Nike has fallen especially in football with the younger generation
Just saying that the posture that audit and consulting firms take toward clients is much different than apparel companies. It’s not apples to apples, so a terrible comparison or analogy to make. Also, I didn’t say a word about burning bridges. Lastly, there’s no such thing as burning bridges with audit and consulting g firms, outside of your company having an integrity issue that makes you untouchable. I’ve fired audit firms under the worst circumstances and they always come groveling back looking for more business.
Nice failed attempt at acting like you’ve got some superior command of the English language.
The audit bidding process is precisely a situation where the contenders know they have VERY little chance of unseating an incumbent and yet they roll out the red carpet every time for the slight chance they could get a win. Nobody needs to fake anything in that process.
Also, there is no Big 4 and there hasn’t been for years. Saying there’s a Big 4 is like saying there’s still a Power 5.
KPMG is out. Lagging behind in revenue and woefully behind in reputation.Nice failed attempt at acting like you’ve got some superior command of the English language.

Now I know you're full of ****.
"There is no Big 4 and there hasn't been for years." Hilarious.
Between Deloitte, PWC, KPMG, and E&Y, which one are you going to inform that they are "out" of the Big 4?
Good lord, you go to extreme lengths to prop up your bull****...
I'm still waiting on you to tell us HOW MUCH MONEY adidas will "help us" with for the ACC buyout. YOU raised the issue, and now you've gone silent. Which I expected would happen.
.

No, doesn’t strengthen your argument. You don’t have to worry about maintaining relationships with audit firms. That’s their job because they are groveling droolers. They are like abused dogs. No matter how much you beat them, they always come back for more.
Whatever word you want to call it, it was a bad “example”.
Or, you know, "moot".
Again, I've said that they point-by-point deal points will not be the same. Nike will offer us a 14-15% royalty, adidas will offer us lots of seemingly-**** trinkets.
I just know that a heavy royalty will result in more cash than the other option(s).
All that applies to Nike as well but even stronger for our perspective regarding sales with royalties vs a big state school with a 10x larger alumni base. They will bump us up a bit "because we might be Big 10 soon" and "because we have been good in basketball and football lately".
But that doesn't mean we are going to get better deals than those offered to Pedo State and Tennessee. Two of the most boring "white and one other color" schools on the planet. Not a great palate to work with there.
No, it's about the size of those flagship schools and the number of sports they offer, two areas where UM is somewhat limited, now and forever.
I want the best for my alma mater. But I'm not going to be tricked by 30 pieces of silver to HELP us pay our ACC buyout.
Who cares?I wonder if adidas is going to display another UM Parley knock-off jersey and then issue a press release explaining how the stripes "represent a nod to the history and heritage of the proud state of Pennsylvania by commemorating the lines of state residents waiting for welfare checks" or some such similar nonsense like what they spewed at the Nebraska jersey unveiling...
