I remember the air bubble Nike shoes. I was never wildly into sneakers. I'm talking about that specific shoe Original posted. You can't convince me that's a good looking shoe at all. Those air force ones somebody posted above, I get that. I like those.

I've always found that the orange and green colors are tough to pattern on a shoe and make it look good. It can be done but it's not easy.

Looks like I am getting back on Ebay and buying used Nike stuff. I hate the Adidas crap. Thank god for the other licensed apparel companies making Canes Gear!

Yes.

But that's not the full picture.

It's the fact that adidas is sponsoring entire teams (and not just the high schools, I'm clearly talking about 7-on-7 too). Not just the "shirts on backs", but everything. The uniforms are a fraction of the total adidas spend in Dade County right now.

Much though I hate the outcome, I definitely admire the hustle.

Yeah, true I would agree with ya. Not really a fan orange and green sneakers. The newer soleflys are nice but the orange and green are a bit tuned down.

You do realize that once you do the IPO and sell shares the first time, the "stock price" becomes an issue for the SHAREHOLDERS and not the corporation itself, right?

Meaning, whether Nike has money to give to schools is completely independent from the stock price. It would be based on, oh I don't know, something like REVENUE.
