MEGA New Miami Adidas Ultraboost🔥 - The Shoe and Nike/Adidas Thread.



As I’ve said many times, Adidas is becoming Skechers. Whatever Nike does, Adidas tries to follow.

1. Nike comes out w team graphic gloves, Adidas comes out w team graphic gloves

2. Nike comes out w a Flyknit shoe, Adidas comes out w a prime knit shoe

3. Nike comes out w basketball shoes as cleats, Adidas comes out w basketball shoes cleats

4. Nike starts collaborating w Sean Witherspoon, Kanye West, Pharrell, Jerry Lorenzo, Kith, etc., Adidas collaborates with all of them + the etc.

5. Nike comes out w the uniform collars, now Adidas finally comes out w their version of a collar

6. Nike comes out w/ historic, painted helmets, now Adidas is coming out w historic, painted helmets.

This is y they hate each other. Sambas went from a futbol boot to a fashion item. However, The Sambas have lost their touch which is y their stock has gone down. No way in the world should this shoe be converted to a cleat for football. This is an ankle, Achilles cleat that’s ready calling a player’s name. If Adidas was smart, they would release these as a shoe to go along w the new jersey, but to have this a cleat to match the uni is begging for an injury.

Therefore, adidas can do whatever the **** they want to do without violating 100 years of tradition (or whatever).

Black uniforms (without too much ornamentation) tend to look good. I don't understand "two stripes" on the shoulders when adidas is trying to push that "three stripe life", but whatevs.

I do think that the Zorro stuff is hilarious.

TT fans r having mixed feelings.

Some think it’s cool, others r ?’ing the material used as it appears non breathable, while others r questioning y is Mahomes name so prominent on these unis.

Like I said several pages ago, TT is deep in bed w Adidas b/c of Mahomes. Ironically, & baffling, IU is their first Nat’l Champion since 1998, yet I’ve seen more done in these past few months for UTenn, PSU, & TT. Like, it’s not even close. I’m expecting Utah to receive the same treatment come 2027, as well…but, it’s baffling how much resources r being put into those 3 programs vs. Indiana who’s been not only the longest tenured partner, but THEY JUST WON!
 
@Rellyrell peep the back of the Tennessee jersey. The material between the two panels is the same as the front, unlike the mesh material they used for the canes and other teams last year. I hope Miami gets this refresh to this updated chassis for all jerseys too cause the current ones fit too loose. The fit and finish on Miami’s jerseys overall is lacking.
 
So just to prove I don't hate Nike fam, I picked up these zoom structure 24s at the premium outlet for 45 bucks. After I had a few meetings I was right next to outlet and there were the best deal in the outlet mall. Nice and classy look, very comfortable.

yeah. Tho I was on my feet all day at the convention center and had to walk around that **** place looking for the stores in the rain. Nike was my last stop and definitely the best deal of the day. Adidas had a couple decent choices but not much elsewhere. New Balance was a waste of time, basically full retail unless you buy 2.

The one thing that would make your story better is if you had offered to pay using Nike stock...at the price you bought it for, of course...

@Rellyrell , any chance we can peel the rattlesnake off the side? It appears to be the only FAMU design element...

PS, sorry, it looks like it says "Rattlers" in very small print near the toe box. I can fix that with a green Sharpie...

I actually did it with rubbing alcohol. For the rattlesnake logo, heated it up really good with a blow dryer and peeled it off. Only left a little impression. Swapped the black laces with white

Don't use nail polish remover/acetone
Qtips dipped in strong rubbing alcohol. Some pressure and patience...the white "RATTLERS" comes right off.

For the logo on the side, high heat blow dryer. In circular motion, close to the logo. Again, patience. Pick an end and start slowly peeling while still having the dryer on it. Comes off and leaves just an indentation.

Now I just need to find a U logo that I can put on top of that indentation, and I have my shoes for the FAMU game!

& I get that he’s their most successful player at the NFL level, but they act like bro won chips & conferences with them.

Having his name on the back their helmet is wild AF. I get they’re using his logo like it’s a Jordan logo, but last I checked, Michael Jordan ain’t written on the back of any Jordan Branded programs including UNC.

Seriously, dude won nothing at that school, yet his logo and signature are all over the uniforms. His logo is in the gloves, smh..
