Very possible, especially if Adidas writes a check with enough zeroes in it. In a revenue sharing world, REVENUE matters more than ever. You don't take a pie in the sky deal, because "The Swoosh". That's stupid as ****, and puts a school at a competitive disadvantage. Unless you can afford to absorb the revenue loss(Or are guaranteed to hit the sales goals because you are a huge factory school like Ohio State), you make the best possible financial decision.

There's no "rumor". There are two fvcktard posters, one from California and one who thinks he is a dude, who keep inventing this fantasy world where adidas writes us a big check.

I’ve expressed concerns last yr in my PMs to a couple of posters regarding the switch, simply b/c I didn’t know one of our boosters has ties to Adidas due to business ventures.

What I know is that alums want us back, & there’s been a consensus of frustration of product availability vs. promises made to garnish our attention. The next two yrs will be big for the Nike brand, but I can’t really speak on the y; however, my prediction of their stock rise has already taken place, so if anyone didn’t buy when it was $57/share when I advised, just lost out as it’s ballooned to $76/share.
 
Adidas is fine is they stroke that check, I loved some Nike gear back in the day but I also hated just as much of it. Heck, my favorite gear might be from Russell. It is about dem bucks. Whoever offers more..LFG
