It’s almost like these youngsters realize that this is a business decision and unless you are some crazy generational player, you have to test the waters because there’s no way Nike can pay everyone fair market value. It’s financially impossible. Every stable has limits.

Nike will make a deal with UM, they know the brand is back to trying to compete. No way in **** we aren’t a Nike school in a few years
Should be interesting. Say what you will, but Miami draws eyeballs, and that's what companies want. Would be nice if we could be in a bidding war.

You think Nike will keep a Miami nights jersey for us ?

I don't know.

But I can guarantee Nike won't give us the same-old same-old black jersey that is already in my closet (but with a slightly different font).

2017 jersey (look, ma, the new one has a thin green line around the jersey number!!!)...

UA has been shedding schools for years, I’m curious as to what AU got, or was it a “You have nowhere else to go” situation.

It’s lucrative + royalties. They had other options just like UCLA; they chose Nike for very specific reasons both on & off the field.

UA must be getting ready to go under or something, they are hemorrhaging schools from a stable that wasn't super deep to begin with. Auburn has NEVER been with Nike in a full apparel deal(They were one of the last Russell Athletic schools) and then they switched over to UA after that. Hawaii is returning to Nike, but considering where they are as an athletic department, I'm willing to bet that Nike got them for practically nothing.

Hawaii hasn’t been w/ Under Armour in some time. They were w Adidas in an all apparel deal. Nike stepped in for the same deal, however, Hawaii will be saving $3m/year compared to their previous Adidas deal. Adidas chose not to match.
