New JUCO QB - Carson Proctor

Enos, is trying to implement Jimmy Johnson quote “ you must sign (2) QB’s per year to win”.

Right now with the short time we have our (2) QB’s are what we needed, let the competition begin.

Next cycle (2) more till we got a top flight set of QB’s then if they don’t like it then go portal.

Time to win rings not build cry rooms.

Who's Andy Dalton?

If this kid is getting a scholarship then someone is transferring. Can't have six QBs on a roster, and we're still recruiting that HS kid.

Given the performance ratios of our QBs the last 15 years, I’d say six might be lite. Gather all you can because we need one.

Tate is the starter next year if granted eligibility.

Perry will never sniff another snap and will likely get kicked off the team for another infraction.

Williams will push Tate and really improve under Enos and realize it's in his best interest to stay.

Weldon is a career scout team QB and it is immaterial what happens to him.

This JC QB probably has amazing work ethic and is why they wanted to bring him in. He'll never see the field but will show others how hard you have to work if you want a chance.

Need to recruit a freshman QB every single cycle so if that's Lance that will have no bearing on Tate or Williams.

Absolutely love the competition Diaz and Enos are creating for by far and away the most important position in football.
If this JC was amazing he would have signed a scholarship somewhere,

So his job is to show others how hard you have to work to never see the field.

This guy can be a sounding board for the other QBs on Enos and his offense.

It’s amazing how everyone is assuming and/or projecting our future qb situation. Let’s just wait and see how the players adjust to this new system and coaching. I went back and watched each player senior high school football films and each presented strengths and weaknesses.
Martell was viewed as the best runner. and he throws a nice fade route passes. He is a one read and prefers to keep the ball on RPO scheme. He seemed uncomfortable with mid range passes, but he has that serious competitive spirit.
Williams is probably the most polished quarterback and he will progress to an alternate receiver when throwing the football. He will run as needed, but strength is getting the ball out to the right receiver.
Perry is most comfortable in spread offensive scheme. He is the only one who can make all the throws, but never had proper coaching to improve mechanics. Feet and throwing elbow are in wrong position, but can be correct. My only question, does he understand what he sees?
Weldon is the second most polished and present best feel of pocket and passing schemes. He can lead and has toughness about his play.
Overall, we have a solid stable, and the best player will surface. No, we don’t have that elite quarterback on our roster! Coaching can compensate by getting the ball in space to: Dallas Thomas Jordan Pope Davis Lingard Hightower Mallory Njoku Ezzard Hartley Wiggins Burns and move Bethel to WR!
