Same school Jon Richt went to after Clemson. About an hour away from me. A kid from my old high school has been playing behind him the last 2 years.

Can't lie.. Not mad about a 265 FB, benches 435, squats 525, and power cleans 340. Mars Hill is a well coached program for D2. They've produced some guys that have chances at the NFL. Most D2 programs can't say that.

According to the article, we still have 1 available scholarship left if no one leaves.

CB and OT both need upgrades

Meh...bring him in for a year, cut him next year if he sucks. Agree on bringing in a corner tho
 
article says we're now at 79 total, with room for one more due to 5 scholarships sanctioned. we had 3 years to be under 9 total

that means the last 2 years we only used 4 total scholarship reductions?? seems like we played well under 85 both years. those numbers dont add up to me..
 
I'm officially nicknaming this kid "Ironhead" based on that Vine!! The bench & squat numbers don't lie in this clip; that's a load to bring down!

Not crowning the kid yet, just love when we have utilize power backs!! Hope he gets a shot at carrying the ball some in short yardage situations!

Exactly what I was thinking. I feel like we've been on this reduction for 4 years. Al even explained it once saying we were 6 under one year so only had to sacrifice 3 the following 2 years which would be done by not using 2 one year and 1 another year. **** last year we were only at 79 or 80 scholarships.

There's something about the reduction that we don't understand or something that needs to be explained about how it works lol
 
The question that needs an answer:

Can this athlete be a bull dozer at D1 P5 level or not?


Obviously his capability would be part of short yardage situations. Does anyone see him on the field for 1st and 10?

exactly, somebody is mistaken OR we've had guys secretly on scholarship that literally no one outside of the football offices knew about.

no way we should be capped at 80 this year.

They don't add up because they're not accurate. We have already taken 8 against the 9 total. Only needed to be down 1 this year.
 
Dude is probably 21 years old, 265 lb, short (big plus imo for a fullback), and not afraid of contact. What's the problem guys? We need as much physicality on this team as possible. If anything he makes our lb's tougher prior to the season.
