He goes to Blanche Ely HS in Pompano Beach, not Pompano Beach High (confusing in OP). Ely has had some good squads/ players over the years.

Haha, Goldens incompetence knows no bounds. Slow plays Fenton till 2 weeks before signing day and then takes this kid because we are embarrassingly low on CB numbers.

No this is about being bad at recruiting and roster management. We are lucky Redwine was dying to be a Cane or we would really be ****ed.

We have known that we were low on CBs for over a year and he did nothing. ****, he was complaining about CB numbers a month before signing day. Didn't stop him from botching CB recruiting for a 2nd straight year.

This makes sense after watching the tape. Kid can move and has nice size.

I've been the biggest critic of the staff's CB recruiting, but I like this take given the circumstances. Always better to have contingency plans in South Florida instead of leaving the area for guys like Tyler Grimsley and Junior Alexis.

We need corners, and guys like this end up in the NFL every year.

Don't know what to think about the take when Golden should have recruited Khalid McGee and Baker from Northwestern. Bakers speed is insane.

The circumstances that this staff created for themselves by ignoring numerous talented corners this cycle and only bringing in one CB in the 2014 class.

This is a problem that Miami should never have--lack of depth at CB.
