Welcome to the :neonu:! Very nice addition to the class and hopefully we'll have a Welcome to the U thread for his brother in 2016.

Time for NSFW gifs/pics, this time with Dani Daniels.

If we sign 3 top RBs in this class it will be next to impossible to get any top RB to sign in 2016.

It certainly wouldn't be easy, but it's not unprecedented.

We obviously don't belong in the same discussion as Alabama right now, but they brought in four RBs with a 247 composite ranking of 97 or higher in 2013 and then landed five-star RB Bo Scarbrough the following year.

Not to mention that it's highly unlikely we end up with 3 elite RBs in this cycle unless Dexter Williams does stay in this class to fill the RB/WR role Pete said he's open to playing in The Work. And even then, Token has said Cronkrite won't stick if they take two other RBs. So the only way this would happen is if we keep Williams/Walton and then add Scarlett, which seems like a pipe dream.

What I see in McIntosh is a **** good athlete! Athletes don't get beat. We had so many non athletic busters many think that all we recruit. McIntosh ha good size, quickness, discipline and a bit of nastiness. I think many of the opinions here a based on what they already see as a kids star ranking or if Bama offered. We need to get to a point where we can red shirt studs and let them get right.

Welcome to the U young man. I definitely think this young man by his red-shirt soph year will grow into a 290 lbs SDE that will provide good versatility to set the edge and slide inside to DT in a pressure package.

Go Canes

What a ****in idiot you are. Pressure package and from our DTs? GTFOH

I have had it with your bull****! Yes we run a pressure package front on occasions and actually Chickillo would slide down to DT from DE, but if your decrepit *** had the ability to understand formations/alignments you would know that. Great way to sour a Welcome to the U thread.

Go Canes

Maybe u should read the first few pages. Posters already *****ing about the new commit. I never bad mouthed him. I just find it funny you think he'll slide to DT in a "pressure package". This kid is way more athletically gifted then Chick. He will play DE all the way in our system.

Btw- our pressure package hasn't worked in 3 season. Useless.

For real! He reminds me a ton of Yearby with his ability to change direction with a foot in the turf.

Finds daylight real quick but he doesn't have great flatout speed. He gets run down in a lot of those highlights. Not meant to be a criticism, he's a great back and Yearby doesn't have that extra gear, either. That's why I wish we had Cook and Yearby. Doesn't matter. It's more important that a back finds the daylight, then you worry about taking it all the way.

If he's really 270 now like his coach claims he will be over 280 by this time next year and around 290-300 by his redshirt freshman year here.He will be a DT here then like Pierre,Moten.

I don't see what all this talk about Cronk dropping out of the class. Just don't see it happening. This is all rumors, no truth. Nothing concrete, at this point it's annoying. Kid hasn't even hinted at it. Unless it actually happens. Nothing to worry about. I fully expect Walton, Cronk and Williams to be here. And maybe Scarlett too if he wants in. It will work it's self out.

All 4, Walton, Cronk, Williams and Scarlett are all good and have different abilities.

Token Cane, who posts here and is a family friend of the Cronkrites, has flat out said the only way he won't stay in this class is if we take more than 2 RBs. That's not rumors or blind speculation, it's coming from a poster who's been on the money in regards to Cronkrite dating back to before he was committed. He's legit.

stood next to him during the spring game, big kid....Kid paid attention to the line play and one on ones...his parents did as well. His dad/mom were both with him and paying attention to the field. He'll be a big dend in the 3-4. He is naturally big, when he hits a college weightroom he will be big time...i didnt know who he was in the spring game..but i remember saying **** thats a big kid. After the article on the board i realize he was the kid i was next to. kid looked ready to commit then

Kid will be a player for us, no doubt in my mind. The majority of you *****ing about this kid also *****ed when Rashawn Scott signed with us, saying he was an unknown 3-star. The film does not lie. Kid will be big-time in my opinion.

No one *****ed when Rashawn Scott committed.

My understanding is that you really need 3 DTs for the three man front. As I've posted here several times over the years, when the 3-4 began to get big in the early '80's. I remember Joe Gibbs, soon to become one of the best NFL coaches ever, being asked why he didn't run a 3-4. He said you essentially needed 3 DTs and he didn't have them, so he ran a 4-3. I see no reason to think it's any different now. That's not to say the three positions are interchangeable. A guy who is a good 3-4 DE might not be a good fit for nose tackle. I think you do need a big kid at DE who's got some mobility. I think the coaches are recruiting this kid with a particular role in mind. If we ran a 4-3, he might be better suited for a DT.
