Nebraska?!

Just to add a wee bit O' fact to the OP's rant...

Most of us here were saying that Nebraska was going to have a down year in 2015. No one felt they were an elite team. I personally said that we would learn a lot about Nebraska in week one, and we did. They lost at home to BYU (who went 8-5 last season). Mike Riley will need at least two years to get the Huskers where their fans and AD want them.

IMO, the Nebraska game has all the makings of an al golden special. That being a perceived big win early in the season against a team that ultimately finishes with a sub .500 record (see uf 2013, ohio state 2012, etc.)

I love how people are trying to downplay the possible and likely Nebraska win. Don't let your hate for golden fool you. That program is 66-28 since 2008 and hasn't had less than 9 wins since 2008 in ANY season. smh

Im blinded by NOTHING. I see exactly what's happening and Ive been on record on this board since summer saying exactly what I reposted above. This has nothing to do with irrational hated and everything to do with the facts in play. Everyone paying attention knew Nebraska was going to have a rebuilding year. And again, I posted about it here. Anyone paying attention knows that coach golden has never beaten a quality team in his entire career. Again, its not hatred, rather a simple understanding of things as they are. We are a poorly coached program who is going to play a team with a new coach who are rebuilding in 2015. I'll be highly surprised if Nebraska has 9 wins this season.

A win is a win no matter how anyone feels. Everytime we win this season people are and will try to discredit each win. It's sickening at this point.

Ameer Abdullah and Randy Gregory gone. De'Mornay Pierson-El out due to injury. Three new starters along their OL just like us. They have a less talented roster than ours. Brand new staff in place. Awful passing offense. Just lost at home to BYU, even though their opponent's starting QB suffered a Lisfranc injury in the first half, played the entire third quarter after getting a painkilling injection at halftime, and is now out for the season.

Anyone who tries to gas up a win over the 2015 Nebraska Cornhuskers is lowering expectations to a staggeringly absurd degree. Needless to say, losing to them would be unacceptable for any coach in their fifth year here. Beating FSU or Clemson would qualify as signature victories, not Nebraska.

Nobodies gassing them up but they are not horrible like people are making them out to be. They still have a good defensive line

That's what we get for playing ****** schedules and putting a mediocre product on the field...only 2 or 3 games actually matter at this point. It's like the late Lloyd Carr teams at Michigan. They were still winning 9 or 10 games every year, but the schedules were so **** (and that was in a better conference) that no one was giving him credit for beating up on Purdue or Northwestern, it was all about Ohio State, Michigan State, Penn State and Notre Dame. Lose multiples from that set and the season was a failure, total win count be damned. Lose a game against someone not on that list and it was downright fireable.

We have 3 games worth a healthy hairy **** on this schedule and they are FSU, GT and Clemson. Any Miami coach should be expected to win all the others, and if they don't they are below standard. That includes this mediocre Nebraska team that some on this board have turned into some sort of pressure test because they win 9 games every year. 9 wins means they lost 4 times. If Miami isn't good enough to beat that then the coach has failed and deserves to go.

Well we better fix that offensive line pass blocking if we wanna win against Nebraska also 3rd down conversions

Dorita might attack early but he'll revert to the usual soft D and we'll cave in the late stages of the game. Book it. This staff doesn't have the killer instinct.

Let's say that Fraulden the Incompetent, and his staph, was coaching BYU against Nebraska. Would the outcome have been different? I say Cornholers by 10.

What's it matter that Nebraska isn't an elite team? We aren't either. The trump card is that we're stuck with Fraulden, they're not.

Again, you are incorrect. All wins in college football are not created equally. That's partly why strength of schedule is part of the voting process. How about you and I make a mental note and let this go at the moment. Lets see:
1) Who wins the UM - Nebraska game.
2) How many wins Nebraska finishes the season with.

That will tell us who is correct here.

Again, I'm expecting UM to win that game and Nebraska to finish with about 6 wins this season. We'll see.

If anyone believes we are going to run train on NU just because they lost to BYU last week, they have another think coming. Let's nip this in the butt right now.

I thought Nebraska and BYU both played a good game. Miami fan will crap on any opponent Miami happens to beat. FSU - they suck without Jamis. Clem'son - they suck just like every ACC team ... Miami is gonna lose games this year and the jackel's will feast on the underbelly of every loss. Now if Miami loses to FAU reasonable fans will be up in arms too. The season will tell it's own tale but I'm gonna support dem Canes and hope they have a good season.

LOL at this guy and his fellow "reasonable fans". The reasonable fans will start to think Folden might not be the guy if he loses to FAU.

What's a good synonym for reasonable fans?

Too caught up in being right that you each fail to see that you are saying the same thing. That is that AG sucks sweaty donkey balls

Based on history
If AG beats UN, they are likely a sub .500 team
If he loses, UN is either a ****** team AG cannot out coach (Virginia) or a team that ends up with a winning record

EDIT: Brock what you saying? Just re-read your post above and those that followed. By "Nebraska win" are suggesting that we will win or not? your posts that followed seemed to conflict what I originally understood you saying...that you expect us to lose to UN.
