Why do people keep expecting anything from them? They're basically replacing their entire offense (whole OL, top two WR's, AA, etc) and today on paper look like a dud on offense with a QB who can't hit the broadside of a barn. Having AA last year, that should've made his passing game easy and now he's gone. What gives?

Its college football. The historic power programs are always going to the benefit of the doubt. Go visit our opponents boards. They still speak about UM like we're a good team. lol

As for me, Im a big fan of Mike Riley. I thought Bo Pelini's firing was strange but when they hired Mike Riley I felt they upgraded.

Has more to do with golden than anything. You can't trust that guy against any team with a pulse.

Fair point.

I think its fair to assume that Nebraska 2015 will be at least as good as UVA and Pitt circa 2014.

Nebraska is our first real opponent we'll be playing in our third game of the season. Hands down, I put all my money on this, we'll come out flat, unorganized/confused, and totally unprepared for what they have to offer. When you see an Al Golden led football team on the field it's almost as if he schemed for a totally different opponent, it's unreal. It could be close for a little while- players will be fired up and it'll be at home- but they'll outcoach us by a mile.

The better question is how, after 4 years of Golden and countless losses to teams we shouldn't have lost to, you would make such a thread with such an argument?

OL is a big *** question mark for us. I think our defense will be better if w play more 1 gap like what's been rumored.

Many thought UL getting a whole new coaching staff, new QB, and their best players being injured would guarantee us a win last season. Didn't happen.

Never underestimate the incompetence of Al golden

Was interesting to watch one of those U of Miami programs on ESPN.This segment talk about Miami being in a losing streak with
Butch Davis at the helm.It was described as a disaster until they beat UCLA who was ranked #2 in the nation. Then all of a sudden
he's a great coach.Perhaps win over Nebraska will be turning point.

Geo different situations. Davis was dealing with -30 ships and he still was able to show flashes of things to come. Golden hasn't done chit. Nothing close to anythuing

We got waxed by Pitt and Va so we should expect something from **** near everyone we play.

I think most, especially me, are not worried about them, we are worried about our staff!!! We should have beaten them last year with that one dimensional team.

After the game Frauden's press conference will start with "it's on me" crap. Need we say more.

I don't know. Probably because Miami loses to the dog**** teams with almost the same frequency that they lose to good ones. How many times per day does Golden check his phone only to find out Mike London has texted him another **** pic? Instead of "Why shouldn't we win?" every game on the schedule should be met with "Why shouldn't we lose?"
