ND-Wake Cancelled

also i thought texas doesnt share longhorn network. they just pay 200k to the b12 revenue split. b12 network is owned by fox while lHN is ESPN owned and texas retained their rights to show certain games on there

I didn’t read the break down on rev sharing, however, the Big 12 only shares with ten schools while the others have 12-14.

I do. The SEC is all about family and being the best, even when they aren’t.

The SEC is a football first conference and everything else is secondary.

The ACC is still a basketball conference and that is what brought them to prominence. Football is a necessary evil for them.

The SEC would protect Miami as one of their own due to the nature of the conference.
I appreciate your opinion, but I just don't see it. I'm pretty sure we'd be seen as the new guy and be kept in our place. I can't imagine UF would agree with anything we'd suggest. Also, we'd have to be in the West because there's no way they'd agree to playing us every year.

yup which is why even tho they made less in reported fiscal revenue per their taxes they paid out more compared to others

we dont fit in with the SEC in terms of culture, student pop, or history. UF barely does as it is bc they have so many SoFla kids

C'mon man. They played their schedule. The ACC let them in. Ain't ND's fault. The ACC commissioner let ND **** on the rest of the conference. They still earned the right to be in the title game. Should have not let them in this season or ACC teams should have beat them.

Moving forward, I don't want them to continue to be an independent and play ACC games. Either get in, or the whole school get the **** out of the ACC in all sports.

"Notre Dame is not a member of the ACC conference for football" is a factual statement. They have been granted the right to play in the acc championship game but they are still not members. My opinion has nothing to do with which team beat which team and is based on my belief that only full conference members should play in the conference championship.

Let's say Liberty was locked out of bowl games (which appears to be true) since it is independent, but the ACC decided to allow Liberty to be an ACC representative since it had played some acc teams, and Liberty took what would have been Miami's spot in a NY6 bowl game. Would you passively accept that as well?

It’s probably too late at this point but Miami should play Notre Dame this weekend. Both our opponents canceled and it would show who belongs in the acccg.

pipe dream I know. They’d also probably beat the brakes off us but I’d rather have a chance then scoreboard watch a team we never got to play take our conference

If that was even brought up the ACC would have shot it down immediately. They are doing everything they can to ensure Clemson and ND both make the playoff.

I'm just laughing my *** off at your attempt to claim ND is not an ACC football member in the 2020.

The ACC governing body allowed ND to be a member for the 2020 season. I don't agree with it and I don't like it, but that's what they did. If ND beats Clemson again, they will be holding the conference trophy. The will hold that trophy as a member, not some guest that you invite to your country club golf tournament and wins.

It is what it is. Get over it.

You strike me as the kind of guy who thinks it's not *** to enjoy sucking d!cks in prison because you are just making the best of your available options.

To use your country club analogy, let's say the country club has a membership waiting list 5 years long, a mid-6 figure annual membership fee, and only members are allowed to play in the country club tournament. The country club president wants to let his buddy play in the tournament but his friend is on the waiting list, so the club president creates a special one day membership pass written on the back of a napkin and his buddy wins the tourney. All the other country club members have every reason to be upset since they were supposedly in this highly exclusive club and being forced to pay exorbitant fees. If the Club Prez said, "What's the big deal, he was a member because I gave him a one day membership pass" a lot of members would say that's bullsh!t and try to get a refund of their fees to go to join a club that doesn't let a Club Prez change the rules to benefit his friends.

Ultimately, the guy who is being allowed to skate here is Blake James. It sounds like the ACC had to vote to let ND get a one year trial membership. If James voted to allow ND to be part of the conference this year, he should be fired. That's a breach of his duty- he was willing to ***** his own school because of the pipe dream that ND is going to join the ACC. If ND had guaranteed, in writing, that it would join the conference three years from now if allowed to be a full member this year, then I wouldn't have any objection. I haven't heard of any guarantee so by the looks of it, Blake James voted to give away Miami's spot for no good reason. Fortunately there are a few coaches with balls like Pat Narduzzi who basically said "F-ck ND if they don't want to be full members, they can go play BYU 10 times." I would like to hear Diaz say something similar.

You need mental help. I can't help you. :rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg:

I've always said ND shouldn't be playing football against ACC schools without joining the conference. I didn't want them in the conference for 1 year in 2020 either. The conference officials and AD's sold everyone out. It doesn't change the fact that they let ND be a member for 1 year no matter how much we hate it.

Thats word-for-word what was said in 2017 when many fans were arguing that Miami was going to catch a beating from the #3 team, since we couldn't even beat a 4-8 ND team in 2016. Didn't quite work out the way most people thought, did it?
I forgot I was on CIS where rational thought comes to die. We're #1 bro, we want Bama bro

The ACC let ND cut in line in front of us and got the last playoff spot.
