ND Losses

I wanna get to a point where we’re not playing kids out of position. We need to recruit true tackles, true guards, and true C’s.
I would say Walker is an OT and Rivers a guard. Zion is proving to be getting better every week and they have taken a couple guys like him who are true tackle bodies.

This is still the same team that was in low scoring a dog fight against Louisville until the very end at home.

I am leaning towards them losing. The only doubt I have is will it be more than one game.

What in the **** is wrong with you people.. I read in the same thread that ND isn't as good as advertised and neither is Clemson.

I know this a crazy year, but if you can believe that ****, you're beyond crazy.
If healthy, both can beat us easily with our ****y defense. Both teams have solid OL that can protect QB's well and give them time to find open receivers and TE's. Clemson is a much better team than how they played yesterday and ND over all is better than us.

Lmao. Like your takes matter after you openly laughed at our QB and called him a midget.

Go away you pathetic troll.
Band bet for a month? Show proof of this, clown. That way the rest of the board can see who the real troll is.

Would have to disagree there. I don't think they got lucky but it was the perfect opportunity. That game would be different with Lawrence there.
It doesn't look like offense was Clemson's problem. Would they be better with Lawrence, certainly. But they lost a lot of people on the defense. They need to get them back to get better.

I agree 100%. They were missing 3 key guys to start and lost another 3-4 during the game. It was a huge factor. The turnovers didn't help, either.

ND is very good. They have an NFL oline, that TE 87 is a phenom, the RB is good, & Book is a leader. Stop being haters.

They had a NFL o-line, a RB in the Heisman race, a good QB in Wimbush who was either doing great passing, or ran for 100+ yards (for 200 against BC...anyways, they bucked like ******* and put up 8 against what people keep saying was an overrated 2017 squad. They are a top 5 team for sure, but they aren't "beat Clemson with all their starters" good. I really hope we get to play them somehow this year. Unless we stumble somewhere and lose momentum, Miami WILL beat ND.

Then go be a fan of those teams!

I would be less surprised to see Clemson lose a 2nd game than I would ND losing 2. This Clemson is not the same one we played by the eye test. I know nothing about their roster status and who they have been without (if anyone?) other than Lawrence but they didn’t look the same with him against BC either.

Not like DJ is a slouch at QB but the dynamic of their entire team is just not the same. I’d be concerned of their defense if i was a fan. The offense still scores points.

Lawrence didnt play against BC. They also haven't had their starting MLB for the last 3 weeks. Their starting DT and starting Sam/NB was out against ND + BC.

Clemson has given up 14 to Syracuse, 28 to Boston College and 23 to Notre Dame in the first half the last three games.

Trevor Lawrence doesn't play defense.

Notre Dame didn't get lucky.
Trevor Lawrence doesn't block either. Clemson had 34 yards rushing on 33 carries.

I could see Pitt making a run at Clemson. They always play Clemson tough and they have Pickett back at QB. Pitt is going to shut down Clemson's running game the same way ND did. The blueprint is out.

ND Offensive line that year had 2 guys who ended up getting drafted top 10, a 5* Sophomore, and 2 other solid dudes. Didn't help them much against a freshman Jonathan Garvin

Trevor Lawrence doesn't play defense, but Clemson was without 3 starters on D for the ND game. Im no Clemson cheerleader, but ND did struggle mightily against L'ville.
