NCAA To Announce Punishment at 10am Today

UM should appeal the sanctions. This would enable them to overcome the self-imposed scholarship restrictions before starting any NCAA imposed scholarship restrictions. Why not load up a huge class following self-imposed sanctions? The timeline for an appeal is about 4 months, which would put UM past national signing day.

You think it's worth it for 3 ships? that's all it will gain us in the short term.

There is nothing to lose. They cannot increase the penalty. At worst, the penalty remains the same, but UM would be able to bifurcate its scholarship restrictions and load up in the middle of them.

**** you Charles Robinson - you miserable, muck raking hack. Where are the pregnant strippers now?

**** you Mark May - you sanctimonious ****.

**** you Maria Elena Perez - you embarrassment to a UM law degree.

**** you (and thank you) NCAA - for trying to ***** us and stepping on your own ****s.

And above all **** you little Nevin - you Napoleon complex having, ponzi scheming vengeful ****. Where did all that anger at UM get you? Power bottom status in federal prison.

Ahhhhh, it's great to be a miami hurricane!

As I hinted yesterday, Miami has been preparing to accept the sanctions.

They either knew what was coming or (my guess) the NCAA accepted Miami's proposed sanctions.

I'd think the final ruling was based in part on our agreement to not appeal.

HURTT GOT A SHOW CAUSE

Among former coaches:

### Missouri coach Frank Haith will receive a five-game suspension.

### Aubrey Hill, Clint Hurtt and Jorge Fernandez received two-year show cause penalties. Hurtt is on Louisville's staff (pending a decision by the school), but the penalty will make it difficult for Hill and Fernandez to land jobs in the next two years.

Jake Morton did not get a show cause penalty.

Throughout the process heading into today, UM has remained optimistic that it would not get another bowl ban but likely would get football and basketball scholarship reductions.

UM and the former coaches were informed of their rulings at 8 a.m. Tuesday -- two hours before the public release.

The fact that Stoutland didn't get a show cause means that he was likely the head snitch.

Actually he's coaching the Philadelphia Eagles offensive line this year.

Worse then the negative recruiting?

Very doubtful. Just saying there will be some dumb little knick-knack limitations by the NCAA (under-the-radar jabs) that just makes Golden and staff's propensity to recruit and ID talent all the more important
