They have far more talent than us, and we beat Georgia Tech almost as badly as Georgia did. Miami won by 21, and Georgia won by 23. Since Georgia is #1, that would mean MTSU has to be better than Georgia. They stomped the team that beat Georgia Tech nearly as bad as the #1 team. MTSU would roll Georgia. Georgia got lucky they won't have to play such a talented team. A team with such a talent advantage wouldn't be fair in the playoffs, just like it wasn't fair against us.

Last year Michigan scored about 3 points Vs Georgia with Gattis. They meet again this year without Gattis, and they hang 33 and win.

TCU could very easily lose to K State.

I'd pull for USC from this pool disirregardless. That said, I'll root for anyone that isn't from the SEC although I'd also obviously prefer Ohio State doesn't get another one.
