I could see Miami climbing in the rankings. Still many high rated players they are in good shape for. The other factor for me is that we could see a big jump in rankings for a committed OL and QB. I think some commits are drastically under rated and could see a jump during their SR seasons.

Click City with that take BUT I did some research and the number one overall recruit per composite is correlated with stellar finishes. That’s a bit of a no **** type statement, I get it, but here’s the last six years.

2025

Bryce Underwood, Michigan, 6th in composite team rankings

2024

Dramaiah, Ohio State, 5th

2023

Arch Manning, Texas, 3rd

2022

Travis Hunter, Jackson State, obvious one-off

2021

Quinn Ewers, Ohio State, 2nd

2020

Bryce Young, Alabama, 2nd

With Cantwell already in the boat, there’s historical reference here leading us to believe we can finish 6th or better.
