Tackle is #1 for me. I believe an upgrade at Tackle would allow our run game and pass protection to improve greatly. We could line up and run for 3rd and 1. An improve running game would control the clock, sustain drives and keep our defense of the field

Db is #2 . DB would allow us more man to man, more blitzing, improved run support.

The third I’m having trouble deciding between RB or DE. Yearby is a good RB but not a takeover the game type. A better running back would improve our red zone and setup up the pass. An improvement at DE would take away a side of the field, disrupt their passing attack. A timely sack can setup field position. I’m going to choose DE as #3 . DE is unknown for us. We know what Yearby will give us.

Not a single position, but position group...

IF Miami, with current talent, could field a top 5 OL unit, I think they are absolutely in the conversation for a CFP slot.

Wish in one hand though...

Well it's more than three positions but offensive and defensive lines. Then quality depth everywhere, there's talent on this team just not enough.

I think we have the talent on D-line to help get us there. The O-line should be much improved, but not sure if it'll be strong enough to get us there. Now, if Kaaya can make fast decisions and move the chains, ANYTHING is possible.

Well with what sounds like a big upgrade at LB and the expectation that the DL should be quite Kool this year I'm going with OL, CB, and safeties. I think between Richt's play calling, Kayaa's threat as an excellent passer, and with a huge improvement in the OL the RB's should be **** good. I'm also hoping that the incoming WR's are going to help that position out right much.

The right answer here is DL, LB, and Corner.

DL is unproven and has left a lot to be desired in previous years.

LB, question marks and while it's great the Frosh have been stepping up, they're young and will make mistakes. It's a lot to ask of them this early, no matter the talent levels

Corner, need I go any further?

Upgrade those three and a dominant defense can take you far.

Rb
Db
LB

Elite players still wouldnt get us into the playoffs because ol and dl need alot of work

Cornerback. I think just adding one quality CB would make us a possibility for the final four playoff. However, to make us a good bet for the playoff, we'd also need to reinforce the lines of scrimmage. And maybe add a RB that is a breakaway threat.

But CB right now is our achilles heel. It's what will stop from having that chance.

CB, DT, OT. Win in the trenches and don't give up the huge chunk plays or points that an inept secondary will do and you're golden (excuse the use of that word). We already have the QB. Him along with competent OL play would make the RB's and WR's look good no matter what.

1.) LT - LT changes everything on the OL. Allows us to play Darling inside at OG or RT where he belongs.

2.) #1 CB - Lets Elder play his more natural position at NB while still having Redwine at the #2 CB,

3.) RB - A Todd Gurley/Nick Chubb RB would definitely help this offense big time. No offense to Yearby or Walton but they're not even close to that level of a RB.

1. OL
2. DL
3. Secondary-I'm not sold on the corners and safety's

Top 10 team perhaps but no CFP slot with our current secondary. Hopefully Diaz models the defense after the Panthers whom have a beastly DL, one of Kool's former players happen to start, and great coverage LBs to make up for an average secondary--sans Josh Norman.
