My pick for next Head Coach....

Your right. He relates really well with the players and he would clean up down here.

Another genius who still hasnt figured out that the Miami job is more than relating to players.

And it’s “you’re”. If you cant figure that out then you probably shouldnt be relied on for your opinion on a 4 mil a year job.

Yea lets hire a first time HC here when the program is completely dead.

Another genius.

I swear our admin is only as dumb as these moronic fans who still dont get it.

Yeah because first time head coaches have never had success before, right? Why not hire that guy who turned Temple around? Or the guy who was at UGA all those years? That head coach experience will prove to be really valuable for us.

You'd be disqualifying 95% of this board with your gramar check. I do know how to spell ******* - boxtonenyc.

This program is dead. Destroyed.

You dont resurrect that type of program with a first time HC.

If this program was chugging along by all means take the flyer on a first time HC.

And no, hiring Temples coach or UGAs scraps isnt the answer either.

I'm as disgusted as anyone right now with the current status, but talking about getting a new HC is a complete waste of time. Richt is going to be here next year and unless HE decides he no longer wants this job nothing is going to change. Believe me I'm not defending him or any one else on the staff but that is just the way it is.
Harsh, but that is the cold reality.

Me neither but I think it's more of a WVU thing than him. They've been running that defense long before he got there.

If we had an administration that didn’t have such an inferiority complex they would stipulate that running that defense would be a deal breaker.
But he would be an upgrade to what we have now

Zero chance Holgerson's personality fits it with our BOT and nice-guy clean program image they want. Dude got arrested/thrown out of a casino for being too drunk LOL

His O would ******* kill it though. Just need an OC like him..

Agreed, best case is an OC like Holgerson/Leach/Briles.

And for Richt to agree to hire an OC and give up the rains...**** he's too stubborn for that. BOT would literally have to force him

I don't think he would run that defense here.

If we get that guaranteed in the interview then I’m all for it.
But it can’t be assumed it has to be discussed and mutually agreed upon before he gets the job.
It won’t happen anyway but its a nice mental exercise.

Brohm or Campbell should be the first two interviewed and everyone else should take a backseat to them unless a miracle happens like Chris Petersen wanting to come here.
Miami would HATE Chris Petersen, except he does win alot, but if he lost any game they'd rip his personality.

If we’re calling any guys from the big 12 as the head man, Matt Campbell needs to be first on the list. 38 years young, already has 7 years of head coaching experience with 2 conference ships under his belt. Coach of the year awards in both the MAC and Big 12 And as a bonus he has a background coaching offensive lines.

This. Go with a young guy that's got an upwards trajectory in his career. Holgersen's also the same guy that Richt took to the woodshed two years ago with a roster handed over to him by Golden.

Right. Lets get a young hungry guy and its a bonus his number 1 emphasis is the line of scrimmage.

Babers not good enough to turn it around. Not even close.

Hes the type of coach who you hire AFTER the turnaround.

Disagree completely. The guys offense is awesome. If you pair an explosive offense like his with a defense that gets him the ball so many extra times like ours does it’s a match made in heaven. He’s a players coach as well. I understand what you’re trying to say though but I think Dino would become elite here.
