My perspective on Miami as a Gator fan

Y'all can middle finger me and **** talk me all you want for what i'm about to say but this is just an my opinion on what I see when I watch y'all play.

I watch Miami football and what I see on the field are players (not all but a lot) who either aren't good enough or they just do whatever the **** they want to do out on the field (on the defensive side of the ball).

However I feel about Cristobal as a game day coach is useless when I WILL admit he's inherited a MESS when it comes to the players he was left with from Diaz. Napier has to flip the talent from strictly a talent perspective but Cristobal has to flip that roster from a talent and culture perspective. He's going to have to completely strip it down there along with having complete buy in from the athletic department to give him time and whatever he realistically ask for because this is NOT a quick fix.

Outside of someone like Saban, Miami would have the same record with any JUST ABOUT any other coach in America. I don't think Miami would have more than 2 wins if they played the schedule Gators have played so far (and yes, I DO know Miami is decimated by injuries at the moment). That's how bad of a mess it is this season for y'all.

Cristobal gotta attack the portal this offseason like his career depends on it

other observations:

1. Gattis gotta speed it up offensively. Waiting till 10 secs and below to get the snap off is just too prodding.

2. Y'all sure y'all don't have anyone better than 11 at LB?

3. 12 should get 10 plus touches a game. He's underutilized.

4. 88, 12, 23, 85 should be 4 pass catchers on the field when y'all go with 4 pass catchers. I don't know how y'all stomach watching 5 out there at WR, I don't see it with him.

5. Burn 11 redshirt and get him close to 10 snaps a game at QB. Too dynamic

F U Gator fan, but I can't lie I agree with every single point lol

Gattis gotta speed it up

I agree. He's not leaving fast enough.

I was on the fence with him and gave him credit for changing the offense mid-season but I see too many problems with his offense that I don't think can be overcome. I would rather not hope he can change and waste another year if he doesn't.

I’ll be a bit of an *** about it and give him less credit because I’m not sure they actually didn’t have to pass more simply because we were down so many offensive players vs him having an epiphany that he wasn’t in 1985 State College…

Can't stand y'all, but you're not wrong. For what it's worth, I despise Georgia a lot more than y'all. 😁

There is definitely a culture problem that screws up the physical talent we have. Similar to what we saw after Coker, similar to what you guys had after Meyer and also similar to FSU post Jimbo.

BUT

How did we appear to have buy-in until we went just happy to compete against A&M and couldn’t get in the endzone?

Did that lose the team for Mario leading into the 4 losses in 5 games?

Yes. Honestly, it was the first pick against MTSU. The whole team was hyped they kept it close against the Aggies and then were in disbelief this inferior team beat them on ANY play.

There are problems on both sides but when I see 8 turnovers I know these players are not good and it truly is a mess. An yes I agree with the majority of what you said.

0 on defense fits that "culture problem" y'all have. I don't know what to make of him when I watch him. He should be All ACC but watching him, he seems to want to buy in whenever he feels like it since he's not being held accountable
