My perspective on Miami as a Gator fan

I think had an All ACC title last year as a true Freshman. 247 claimed he was a 5 star.

Physically gifted. Bought into his own hype.
must of based that on his **** Talking cause he hasn't done much else on the field..

I'll tell you what I see when I watch the Gators

1. You're QB looks scared out there or just really confused all the time. Nobody worth a darn behind him either.

2. RB's are ok but need to get more touches.

3. TE's are average at best

4. OL is decent

5. WR's are talented but with pathetic QB play it's hard to tell

6. Offense scheme seems to be ok but again terrible QB play has hampered it.

Defense:

This might very well be the worst D you guys have had in 20 years.

I could run on you guys and I'm a slow white dude.

Secondary has some players but can be lit up like a Christmas Tree

LB's Got some good ones but they seem to have a hard time tackling.

DL is underachieving Bigtime.

If Gapier doesn't fix these problems it will only get worse especially now that you will be going on a losing streak.

Obligatory 🖕, but a hat tip for not being obnoxious. Next time we see you though, we rollin' up on ya. Gonna lean on ya like Charles Dutton in Roc.

Y'all can middle finger me and **** talk me all you want for what i'm about to say but this is just an my opinion on what I see when I watch y'all play.

I watch Miami football and what I see on the field are players (not all but a lot) who either aren't good enough or they just do whatever the **** they want to do out on the field (on the defensive side of the ball).

However I feel about Cristobal as a game day coach is useless when I WILL admit he's inherited a MESS when it comes to the players he was left with from Diaz. Napier has to flip the talent from strictly a talent perspective but Cristobal has to flip that roster from a talent and culture perspective. He's going to have to completely strip it down there along with having complete buy in from the athletic department to give him time and whatever he realistically ask for because this is NOT a quick fix.

Outside of someone like Saban, Miami would have the same record with any JUST ABOUT any other coach in America. I don't think Miami would have more than 2 wins if they played the schedule Gators have played so far (and yes, I DO know Miami is decimated by injuries at the moment). That's how bad of a mess it is this season for y'all.

Cristobal gotta attack the portal this offseason like his career depends on it

other observations:

1. Gattis gotta speed it up offensively. Waiting till 10 secs and below to get the snap off is just too prodding.

2. Y'all sure y'all don't have anyone better than 11 at LB?

3. 12 should get 10 plus touches a game. He's underutilized.

4. 88, 12, 23, 85 should be 4 pass catchers on the field when y'all go with 4 pass catchers. I don't know how y'all stomach watching 5 out there at WR, I don't see it with him.

5. Burn 11 redshirt and get him close to 10 snaps a game at QB. Too dynamic

6. 64 is LEGIT at RG
What I get from this:

-Even a Gator (a casual observer) can see the lack of athleticism at MLB.

-a blind man can see B.Smith has game-breaking ability. (can he field a punt?)

Dude tells no lies. Most of us really dlislike the Gators, but mad respect for OP for consistently chiming in, doing so in a manner that is generally respectful, avoiding flame-fests, and being respectful/polite even when folks aren't the same to him.

He'll be a Cane one day. I'd brew the guy if so.

EDIT: BREW = BUY HIM A BEER. That was a single letter away from needing a PAUSE.

That mess he inherited was a chip shot, a batted ball and a 4th & 14 away from being 10-2 last year with the best QB we've had here since Dorsey

It shouldn't look like this. This is a failure of epic proportions with regard to coaching.

He may get us to 10-2 (big whoop) in 4 years, but the program didn't have to take this road of embarrassing itself week after week.

Game day coaching??? ****, Wtf his he teaching these kids during the week?

You didn’t miss my my guy , everything you said is true

Cmr won 9 in year 1 w a golden team that got blown the **** out by Clemson at home like we were Bethune and lost to a sitting us senator and struggled w fau. We also didn’t get blown out in year 1 in any game under richt.
Amen brother
If he could have just gotten him 10 years earlier we would have been good
Timing is everything

I agree but ia also think we don lose to MTSU and Duke the way we did esp MTSU. there was no excuse for that.

MTSU? No.

Duke? Why not? They beat Miami in back to back games a few years ago.

Everyone pointing to 47-10 last year, but that was (1) a different quarterback for them and (2) TVD had Rambo and Harley and was on a roll.

Canes and Blue Devils both with first-year head coaches and while UM has the more "talented" roster—the Canes are loaded with entitled underachievers who think they know better than the coaches, while the Blue Devils have a slew of hungry underachievers who played like their lives depended on it.

Eight turnovers don't happen by accident. That was some brutal, going through the motions, mail-it-in nonsense. Knighton should be ashamed of recent fumbles and Garcia with four turnovers on his shoulders that game; good grief, that was just an abysmal effort after thinking he was hot **** after throwing two second half touchdowns and think the Canes were gonna roll. Kid was obviously ill prepared and not ready to go as the back-up.

Too many red flags:

1. keep playing players that suck while preaching accountability

2. bomb half his coaching hires

3. continue sucking on game day

4. MTSU
I hear ya on playing guys that shouldn’t be but are there a lot of other options?

Honestly. Last years team would be favored by 17 over this years team.
