My new favorite commit

Ya'll got the gardening thing wrong. Gardening to my grandma meant, "Get over here young man and help me pull this stump out of the ground!" Let me tell you, that gardening will make a man out of you. So much so, she had a beard.
I recently pulled out a root from my moms garden. It was a wild rose that had grown and the roots were relatively thick and needed to get carved out.

I'm telling you, after an hour in the sun, I got that sob and gronk spiked it in the garden like it meant business.

De-weeding by hand will have that grip strong.
And those fingers will grow. Nothing is as humbling as ripping out weed on asphalt or stone in the sun.

And you have to go back out a week later, because it's ******* regrown, BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY YOU DIDN'T GET THE ROOT, BECAUSE THE SPACE IS ******* TINY, AND YOU CAN'T GET IT, EVEN WITH EQUIPMENT, YOU JUST KNEE THERE AND RIP YOUR FINGERS OPEN, TRYING TO GET IT ALL, SWEATING YOUR BALLS OFF AND SEEING THE ROOT STICK IN THOSE LITTLE ******* SPACES WAITING TO COME OUT AGAIN

im fine

I agree on the gardening. There's something really cool about eating some green pepper or making a salsa with the veggies you sprouted as seeds. Swimming is cool. I can't speak to pilates because I don't sit to pee (kidding), er I've never done a pilates session (not kidding). I don't think those hobbies/interests/activities warrant the "being weird" that you mentioned.

To clarify the above, I do not sit pee unless I'm already seated for you know what. Then it doesn't count.
At current growth rates, I have some $27 tomatoes about to be ready.

You watch his highlights and he definitely plays better than a 3 star type player. Looks like a really good eval from Coach Lewis. Excited to see this kid develop in Coral Gables.

are we sure thats the gardening he was referring to?

I respect any kid in this era that has their own mind & their own passions about whatever it is that's different.

The average kid in society has been mentally programmed & socially engineered to be a brain dead Zombie, to like all the same things as everybody else, to think & act like everybody else. So if this kid has hobbies that he came to on his own & developed his own appreciation for, I have nothing but utmost respect for it, because it's not easy to be a stand alone in a world full of people manufactured by hivemind.

I darn near killed myself 2-3 years ago digging out a rose bush for my wife. I finally got most of it out to replant it elsewhere. It died.... And where I pulled it up? It came back this year. It won. Beaten by a rose bush.

Sorry but No Cut HAS to be everyone's favorite. Hometown 5* WR styaing home for a change. First one in seemingly decades. Next year Sears has to be everyone's favorite. Pop that cherry with a local 5* CB. Keep the Miami speed home, we win.
You can Thank Malachi for that

Lot of our players do Pilates. I know Fletch has for sure

Alot of professional athletes do pilates. Jenkins is smart for starting now, at 17.

We certainly have a type at NT. When Heathermen first got here, I wasnt sure about his approach at NT. He doesn't want the usual run-stuffing behemoths. He wants an active NT. After seeing Moten last year, I get it.

Saintus and Jenkins both have traits that could lead to them having similar impact as Moten.

For the people overreacting to this, here’s a thought: it’s not really about the gardening — it’s more about the time he gets to spend with his grandmother.
I didn’t read much of the thread but you needing to point this out (accurately) to people is disturbing

Gardening is one of the essential skills everyone should have and very few do.. Also pilates helps w mind-body connection and engaging right muscles for certain movements. He's solid
