My Guess on How Teams Enticing SOFL players

You'd have to be naive as **** to think that Miami is the only great place to play college football. Matter of fact, there's many other places in the country where playing college football is a much better experience.

UM should put that on a billboard on I95.

Did anyone actually say this? I don't recall.

You list the negatives on how teams recruit the best kids in the nation out of S. FL and don't list the obvious

1. MONEYBAGS

This fan base knows what must happen to keep the kids home and that is WIN with a great coach that has the players best interest at mind. The great ones can be great on any roster, but the name of the game is CHAMPIONSHIPS. These kids want to build a legacy and be remembered, but first we have to give them the incentive to want to come here. With the hiring of Richt and Co. you are already seeing a whole new level of recruiting with the kids showing us that we have their attention not just in the state but with various OOS kids as well.

They tell the kids they will help them achieve their dreams and play in the NFL. SEC coaches tell them they will play against the best players in college football and all other conferences are below them.

Considering the numbers and the consensus amongst the "experts", it's true.

The SEC sells their conference. The ACC schools can't do it with a straight face.

I did say "my guess" and to add your take on how fsu and jortsville convince SoFl kids to those towns.. I've never talked to a top recruit to know how they convince SoFl guys to those other places.

Why is that?
Let's see, South beach and nightlife with hot girls trumps the other two places with not a darn thing to do
There is plenty things to do in Tallahassee for a young college student.....

Not everyone is into south beach clubbing scene. I'm from here and I don't like South Beach. I like Lauderdale better. Too be honest I even like Dania Beach better. Not all recruits prefer the club scene. McKinney and Shockey liked fishing. And lets be honest there are beautiful women everywhere. You acting like anywhere outside of Miami is prison. Some kids want to get away. And being that most people in South Florida either moved here from another state or country it makes since that some kids want to get away. Can't always blame negative recruiting or "money bags." When I was in high school the big was pretty split up in 3rds amongst my friends. Each school had about 33% of the students. It is what it is. That's why coaches recruit. Why would any athlete like Bama or ND? Before Saban got there Bama was an after thought among most recruits. ND has been pulling top recruits for ages. Even when they sucked.

I love the myth that there's nothing to do in towns like G-Ville and Tally.

If you're a football player, there's several things to do...every night. They're called Becky, Lisa and Cindy.

Yeah we have South Beach and beautiful women, but that **** doesn't cater to a college athlete. What good is having gorgeous women when they're not even paying attention to you? What good is having tons of nightclubs when you can't even afford to enjoy them?

Kids can go to FSU and UF and be the big dogs on campus, with plenty of women and things to do for a young college male student. In addition he can also play in an atmosphere that is much better than what the kids at UM get. I think UM has an uphill battle typically in recruiting.

Dumb a$$ Miami broads have no clue the Miami Hurricanes even exist. They're too busy sniffin' the jocks of Heat, Dolphin and Marlin's players. A broke college athlete ain't pulling no dime pieces off of South Beach. LOL

The food chain in Miami...

1. Musicians/rappers
2. Scam artists/ponzi schemers
3. Rich foreigners
4. Drug dealers
5. Heat players
6. Dolphin players
7. Marlin players
8. Rich dudes living off their parents money

Disagree. You can pull those same college girls at UM, FSU, UF or any campus.

Those model dime pieces normally don't exist in those cities and aren't ******* kids at Alabama, LSU, or any other top program. Those same ****** type of night clubs in Gainesville and tally have always been accessible to Miami players. Even back in the early 2000's, you would see freshman and sophomores from Miami and even some FIU players at Moes (thursday), Oxygen, the club that was renamed after 609, and some on the beach. Kids were always at strip clubs, too.

The only difference is you're more likely to be known at any part of town in Gainesville, Columbus, or Athens if you're a college player. And, that's not always a good thing.

UF and FSU's female student body > Miami's female student body

G-ville and Tallahassee women < Miami women

Point I'm making is...

Those "hot Miami women" that everybody is referring to don't attend UM and they have no interest in UM players. On the flip side, **** near every hot woman in G-Ville or Tally has interest in UF/FSU football players.

UM players aren't going into Club LIV (or whatever club is hot these days, I have no clue) and pulling dime pieces. They're competing with pro athletes, drug dealers and musicians.
