I have a hard time viewing Mullet as an NFL guy, he's such a cornball. Tough to imagine Owners/GM's and players giving him the time of day.

If we're being honest, this is probably Mrs. Mullet pulling some strings behind scenes. She's obviously not fulfilled by the 85 limp-****'s on UiF's roster, so she's looking go move up to the big leagues and never walk right again.

We see it, but to some NFL front office types, Mullet is a "QB whisperer", which trumps his corniness (in their eyes).

Best case for us is Mullen at UF for the foreseeable future. Guy’s ceiling is 9-3/10-2 every year, and occasionally he’ll pull off an 11-win season, that will ultimately end against whatever SEC West team they play.

Good coach yes, but not CFP caliber.

He will never be offered a HC job in NFL out of college. This may be his only avenue if he has NFL aspirations. Maybe writing is on wall for him. Already hit with recruiting violations. Maybe with all his goofy antics he has worn out his welcome there.
