I have to think that Brad could be out of the job if mullen is hc. Rosier is a much better fit for a Mullin offense and idk that kayaa brings more to the table than rosier. No knock on Brad I think he's a great qb but I think rosier will be a better college qb than brad

EASY, He will take away the QB run the same way they have limited Dak Prescott running this year.

Brad is a future 1st round pick, he's not backing up anyone regardless of who the coach is

Did Mike Leach sneak in the back door here?

Tight with Jimmy...

House in Key West.....

Pac 12 Coach of the Year......

Covets Miami job.....

Would be done very quietly....he negotiates his own contracts. No agents involved....no leaks.......

History repeats itself?

Dennis Erickson = Mike Leach

Strange post on TOS hinting at this......Watch for it....

Mullen can coach, but the QB thing bothers me. He likes power-running QBs. That's not my thing for two reasons: 1) They are rare; and 2) they usually aren't elite passers.

This is a school of pocket quarterbacks and playmaking pass-catchers.

I think he could adjust. But yeah, out of all the spread offenses in football. I dislike his the most.

I would hope he would/could adjust though.

Kaaya will run a better version of the trash heap Coley's implementing right now while Mullen laughs his way around the state finding a stud dual-threat QB to succeed him.

Honest question, why are you so attached to the past?

Miami used to be the innovative program, now we are stuck in the past.

Ohio St used to be 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
UF used to throw it all over the yard under Spurrier. Then Urban showed up.

True dat... his offensive philosophy seems out of line with what we run and have built championships running.

Pocket-passers are the most proven way to win in football. The best football player in the world today runs a 5.4. He wins with accurate pocket passing.

I'm not against mobile quarterbacks, but since this is Miami, I'm most concerned with getting the ball to my talented receivers. Mullen's system is overly dependent on power runs from the QB position. It is rare to find players who can run like a fullback and throw the ball accurately. We don't have anyone like that on the roster, and it will probably be a few years before we have a player like that starting at QB.

Fair enough but this isn't the NFL.

Mullen is a great offensive mind, you don't think he will fit his talent to the system? He won a NC with Chris Leak at QB.

As far as getting the ball to playmaking WRs. He has 2 at MSU, Ross and Wilson, and they have 136 catches and 1750 yards this year. Mark Richt hasn't had a WR get more then 53 catches in a year in 5 years. He had AJ Green 3 years and he never had a 1000 yard season.

Mullen has coached stud performances out of QBs at every stop he's made.

Josh Harris
Alex Smith
Tim Tebow
Dak Prescott

Maybe it's not rare for him? The dude knows offense, bros. There's no shortage of QBs in this state that can move. I think it would be a helluva marriage.
