Massive
Agreed but he was more of a product of Manny's system.Gerald Willis had an All-American type of season. He single handily took over the LSU game. His attitude and troubled past held him back.
I think back in the day, Miami's best knew there were cats ready, willing and able to step up and fill their shoes. They didn't feel like they were abandoning ship because the shelves were stocked and it was completely accepted that once you had reached that level, it was basically expected that you would declare and move on. It' s when you have guys that are approaching that level, but haven't reached it yet - when those guys that haven't quite finished writing their Miami stories opt out, then you definitely have a problem.Mesidor? He didn't exactly have the 2024 season that Moten had in 2025 when they were thinking about the draft but that was a big one with how it played out.
Thinking about this made me realize how few players have ever skipped the draft to come back for us lmao
99 was on some **** this year…can’t wait to see him after another year of development.
I hate to throw around hyperbole (outside of bench press threads) but I’ll go ahead and put Scott/Moten up against anyone in the country given Scott’s trajectory. He flashed some elite potential this year and Moten is just a monster
Hey, you guys remember when all the CIS expert talent scouts said Moten was a jag out of high school and his first couple years or so? I do lmao.
Perfect example as to why you give DTs time to develop.
I thought he was a solid P4 2 deep DT but nothing more. He showed out this year.Very few posters on here were high on Moten. Yet every single year he has gotten better. Even headed into this year, most put him behind Blay and Scott as a second-teamer. I was like, show me the tape where Scott is better than Moten?
Mark my words, Moten is going to be even better next season. He's going to take a Mesidor level step.
Literally and figuratively.Moten & Fletcher are huuuge.
