Mostly OT: Believe it or not, the OC situation could have been worse (Iowa)

This is where Iowa has ranked in yards per play since 2017 when ***** *** Brian became OC.

2017 – 108th
2018 – 91st
2019 – 86th
2020 – 86th
2021 – 120th
2022 – 129th

This is such a bad look for Iowa that I'm surprised their AD is allowing it to happen. Boosters too. Ferentz must have dirt on all of them.

**** nepotism. I hope the ****** fails just to see what his dad does to protect him. And I'm not an Iowa fan all. But I don't think I'll be the only one rooting against them this season though.

I'd coordinate some half back dives for her. To be clear, these would be very long and slow to develop.

There are no minute plays in The Empirical One's playbook.
Quite the ladies man

i used to think Kirk Ferentz could never get fired from Iowa but now I’m not so sure about that. I can’t believe Iowa’s AD and boosters are cool with this. They must all be employed at dealerships their dads own.

I'm surprised Kirk Ferentz does this in the first place. He learned from Belichick.

Belichick also has his sons as assistants but they are... you know, good.

Except Mark Richt did the honorable thing committing coaching Seppuku instead of giving Jon some ridiculous extension

Letting your recruiting class tank because you're trying to backdoor your son to OC is not honorable. The honorable thing to do would've been to relinquish play calling duties, fire or move your son to an off field position, and hire a legit OC, period.

Yeah he could’ve done all that but Instead he was self aware enough to realize that even if he made those moves he could not give his all to what the job required and walked away leaving over $20 million on the table after already donating $1 million of that to the school. Just because Blake immediately turned around and **** that up doesn’t make those actions any less honorable.

Brian officially reports to Barta the AD due to the conflict of interest

he wasn’t trying to back door Jon to be oc. We already had 2-3 oc’s at that time

On another note, I wanted to kick the tires on their DC. He does more with less every year.
