Most confusing part of our QB situation

Kaaya had a QB rating of 150.3 in 2016 which is the third best in school history.

I reserve judgement on Richt as his OC until he gets a QB.

Richt however does deserve massive blame if he keeps trotting Rosier out there in a position to fail. He doesn't deserve that. The fan base doesn't deserve that.

Richt needs to cut the crap and find a QB of the future and have the balls to ride with him.

Our QB recruiting has been well below subpar since Shannon. When Brad Kayak and Steven 'Snickers' Morris are the best QBs you've developed then there is a huge problem. Crazy thing is, things have gotten worse under Richt. Kayak was atrocious under him and now we have Malik who should probably be playing baseball. We all knew this dude wasn't Miami caliber from day 1. We couldn't get anything out of Jack and now Perry is on that same bubble.

Jarren is the best QB prospect wr've had in a long time.

Richt just needs to play him

If the camp reports were true then:
Perry- undisciplined, big arm, ok accuracy, elusive runner, throw too many INTs.
Weldon- undisciplined, good arm, ok accuracy, fastest runner, throws too many INTs
Williams- disciplined, good arm, pinpoint accuracy, ok runner, smart with football. Doesn't fully grasp playbook though.

Williams looks like the future. He has the size to take his lumps. Williams may not understand whole playbook, but what is worse, a QB who knows the playbook but is statistically proven to miss half his throws or a QB who doesn't know the whole playbook but has the WRs confidence and will get the ball where it needs to go?

We don't need a QB competition over the next three games. Name Williams the starting qb, give him a smaller playbook and watch natural talent win games.

I take that over 1 read, high ball, no accuracy Rosier

Where is the complicated play book these younger 3 are having difficulty learning. Our 1950 team had a more complicated play book than I saw last night. An 8th grader could have learned last nights play book in a couple of weeks. I call ift BS these 3 young ones are that dumb and I believe any one of them.would have done better than Rosier last night.

Kaaya almost went undrafted in this system. People have been calling for Rosier to be benched since his 1st game in this system. Jack transferred out because of this system. And no other Qb is apparently smart enough to grasp this system, other than a guy who cant complete more than 50% of his passes in this system.

At the end of the 2015 season Kaaya was seen as a legit 1st rounder. Safe to say that one year in Richt's system killed his draft stock. In hindsight it's easy to see why he left early.

Our predictable, ineffective and big play or bust Offense is complex? Jesus ******* christ.

To be an optimist, I'm going with Richt not wanting one of the freshmen to get their first exposure against LSU---and not wanting to put them in must throw situations later on. But OP has it right. This offense is vanilla as all ****. I just hope it's because he knows Malik can't do anymore and ---not that I agree---wanted to protect the kids.

If that’s the case, it would mean Richt was coaching scared, which is even worse

He (CMR) seems like he has some super weird control issues with the offense. Do we even have a second set of eyes in the booth to help? I was so excited when Mark Helferich "came to consult". It's a travesty no one could talk Richt into hiring him to call plays. Wonder if Richt gave him a job offer but under the premise that Richt still calls plays and John still coaches QBs.

I was ******* saying from the very beginning: ANYONE BUT ROSIER.

This literally is not surprising in the least. This was my exact reasoning for saying one of the freshman should be our starter. Like I said ******* months ago, Rosier is NOT a game manager. He is not like an Alex Smith, where Mahomes has more natural talent, but Alex Smith makes the correct decision and can run the offense adequately without making mistakes. Rosier is a qb that can't make more than one read, and can't complete passes at a rate better than 50% and throws INTs at a rate higher than almost every other Qb.

Why the **** you go with that guy just because he has more experience over more talented younger players simply because every once in a while they'll make a freshman mistake is just downright retarded. Like I said, with any of the 3 freshman, sure they might not know the playbook as well as Rosier, but that doesn't ******* matter one bit when Rosier can't make more than 1 ******* read his **** self, or even complete the ******* pass more than half the time when he does have the guy open.

There is no LOGICAL REASON for Rosier to start over one of the freshman. You don't start an inaccurate RSSR QB who sucked last year and is already at his ceiling over a more talented frosh who already is as good as Rosier and is only at their floor. The logic behind Rosier starting this year is incredibly flawed, and Like I said from the very beginning Richt never gave the freshman a real chance. He has essentially shown age-ism. He Defaults to the older player unless the younger player is CLEARLY far and away the better player. Its just stupid. Literally the same thing can be said about Robert Knowles getting a single ******* snap when we have Amari Carter and Gurvan Hal. Is it really ******* surprising to you guys Rosier and Knowles are still trash!

There's nothing to reconcile guys, the whole thing is ****ed. We have 40 threads going, uncountable posts and then soon @HurricaneVision will post about 100 clips all of which will confirm one thing: Malik Rosier should have played his last down at QB here. There is no other viewpoint. Whatever CMR is thinking is wrong, you can't reason it. He is going to lose this team if he doesn't make a change.
