Not claiming to be tight with Lane. But if he’s fundamentally the same guy he was in the 90’s and early 2000’s, I have zero doubt he’s still got that spite in him. Enough to give intel? Wouldn’t go that far and let’s face it, at this point we are who we are and same for them. It’s pretty much an open book and he’s been disconnected long enough from the squad that he makes no difference to them at this point.Maybe Lane sent over some intelis he spiteful enough ? and does he have any strong connections to our staff

I would not start celebrating yet.
They still have a full room of coaches, old and new working.
I respectfully disagree.Maybe but when you have position coaches that have built relationships with their group leaving who fills the leadership gap?
Are the players still going to have the same level of trust in analysts they may not have had much contact with?
That is a lot to deal with in a game of this magnitude and I could easily see the temporary organizational structure Golding has in place cracking under the pressure and players starting to question their coaches if things don’t start off well.

Agree. I think Bryce should be given Ed Reed type freedom on the back end to roam when Trinidad leaves the pocket. Let instincts take over. This game is a Bryce game.
Ahman Richards mentioned something on @DMoney and @Peter Ariz show today. Both of their playoff games were rematches. This is the first time in a good while they are facing a new defense and a defense with a better DL they played all year. It never crossed my mind until he said it. Rematches usually favors the losing team. How do they gameplan for us. I think we have shocked the teams we played with our physicality. So not having extra time with the coaches maybe a factor, in fact.I respectfully disagree.
They have been running their O and D all season and they don't need any special attention this week. Its not ideal but this isn't the middle of the season.
Maybe they don't come up with anything particularly special but they don't have to. If they lose I doubt it will because they couldn't gameplan a few extra plays. Their O is dangerous as it is.
I want to win the first home game of 2026, whatever it takes.I hate this I want to smash them at their best.
Football is chess. You can watch film and practice, but being prepared for something you haven’t seen all year you need coaching.Ahman Richards mentioned something on @DMoney and @Peter Ariz show today. I would not underestimate Ole Miss because of this mess.
If anything, it could work to their advantage.
It might work to their advantage in the first couple series in the first quarter when they are fired up and running scripted plays. Then as soon as Miami throws something at them either offensively or defensively that their coaches didn’t prepare for because they were in Baton Rouge massaging Lane Kiffins balls all week, they are screwed.
Exactly. It was earned either way winning at aTm and then beating Ohio State.I'm in. Just advance.
I looked at it from a selfish standpoint though. If our new coaches came from say North Carolina who we have some type of rivalry with, would we want them to win the national title? I wouldn't. They would have that to recruit and have over us. But in reality Kiffin should have stayed at Ole Miss. They never won sheit and to be this close cuz u were clearly gonna beat Tulane. U win just one there and u a legend. Why go to LSU and be a JAG? Saban took them out of the 50s, Les Miles won a title and Orgeron built their greatest team. Unless he goes on a Saban like Bama run, he wont its gonna be hard. He is selfish and egostical. He clearly gonna be rooting for us to execute them tomorrow. JerkNot claiming to be tight with Lane. Not a good dude and I cringed when people mentioned him for our gig. Guy literally left his people at the alter at the program’s most pivotal moment. He’s one of the biggest douche bags I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing. I have zero doubt he’s ready for them to get knocked out not only to get his guys, but just out of shear spite even though they would have given him anything.
Agree. I fault no one for doing what’s best for them. At the same time the guy, and many others for that matter, have no consideration for others around them. He’s one of those guys and turned his back on his staff, put others in a really difficult position, and above all, bailed on a large group of young men who bought into his vision when it mattered most.I looked at it from a selfish standpoint though.
